The days on non-infinite rolls, estus punishes, backstab punishes for panic rolls, animation canceling, quickrolls, rollpunches for parry spammers, and even I-frames on the backsteps. I wanna go back.

This isnt even an unpopular opinion, though. The common consensus seems to be: Ds2 is the worst souls when it comes to PvE (while still being pretty good for build creation). But it's the best one for PvP.

@@Curlyheadrae24 I am one of the biggest DS 2 haters there is. I fcking tried to like the game but I just can't because of how bad it is. But what you said is still cope. PvP wise DS2 is a better game. I love DS3, but there are way less builds in that game and you can just panic-spam-roll like in Elden Ring and evade basically anything.

The game with the most insane weapon mechanics. The only 2 Ls this game had was removal of golf swing UGS launchers and the funni binoboost sprint bug. I would love to invade again in this but it's pretty dead on playstation and soul memory is sad. Duels may be possible because they dont use soul memory I think though.

I agree on the weapon part. Spell part is hella false. Outside of like HCSM and GC most spells are trash vs anyone decent

@boogit9979 I mean, the spells in ds2 are much more fun than the stars of ruin, comets of ruins, lighting of ruin, and so on. Endless spam with those spells that require nothing isn't exactly fun.

Elden Ring has the best spells in any Fromsoft game. Carian greatsword, carian piercer, gavel of haima, carian slicer can all be used to set up really fun and interesting combos. Not to mention all the fun incantations

Damn imagine actually using spacing, environment, and game knowledge to confront 3v1. Damn, imagine not getting infinite comboed by r1 because the game decided that your roll mashing was buffered too late or too early. Damn, imagine not being one-shot by a max level phantom sneezing on you. Damn, imagine a game where the host can't see you coming a mile away. Damn, imagine a game balanced enough where pretty much any build is viable in PvP. Damn, imagine a newbie friendly game that also didnt completely trivialize itself with coop and only pressing one button to win. Damn, can you imagine such a game? Fromsoft can't. Thats ironic, somehow....

I blame the hordes of drones who mindlessly dunked on DS2 for all the wrong reasons, I can imagine that it had a significant impact on froms willingness to try something like DS2 again

Favorite greataxe just because the style and the range, idk whats going with fromsoftware making heavy weapons shorter than a rapier

Nah in ds2 pvp looks like its 2 npcs fighting to their death. Pvp looks more like the player is actually fighting in ds3 and elden ring

Yes you can, although most of the time you will be spamming the red eye orb because you will get "Unable to invade" message. But you should be ok as long as invade in the areas that are outlined in orange in the fast travel menu

Steel I recommend you make a video on the quick attacks and one literally just based on the battle axe strong attack, practically gives free roll catches with good dmg and the quick attacks with some weapons are just too fun

Santier Spear is literally the only reason to play this game. Probably the most fun weapon in the whole series. Buuuuut they nerfed entire builds to worthlessness... rip mundane. Other than that... this game was pretty meh.

Powerstanced ropera on the right hand and a longsword in the left one is the most fun i had in souls games, right hand to poke and parry and the left hand to do dual attacks

DS2 content out of nowhere i aprovem even surprise ds3 content looks stale compare to DS2 content
