There's no question Rachael Price's voice and delivery are extraordinary... but also notice the arrangement is beyond magnificent.

Her lower register is unlike any woman singer I have ever heard. You are right - she is an incredible talent. GBjj
Don’t confront me with my failures, I have not forgotten them. … A line that brings tears to a person full of failures, but looking forwards to being better. A wonderful song and a wonderful singer.

No question Rachael has to be the finest singer around these days. At the risk of causing apoplexy she reminds me of Karen Carpenter, having a superb, totally different voice, but sharing the ability to effortlessly interpret the emotion of everything she sings - particularly 'These Days'
Long been a fan of Rachael Price, Lake St Dive and Jackson Browne. But that was wow... goosebumps.
The voice of this generation singing a song, a poem really, from the voice of another generation. Pure bliss.

So true and well said.
What a gorgeous arrangement! The minor notes do it all.
To think that Jackson Browne was only 16 when he wrote this evergreen. Wow.

I'd suggest that Haley Reinhart is somewhere within a standard deviation of Rachael's tiptopiness.
Never hit “like” so fast, Rachael and company covering These Days, one of the saddest, most beautiful songs ever.
I love it when favourites collide... been a fan of Stories and Lake Street Dive and Rachel and Vilray for years ... love to see this.

@@HermannFamily Nothing against Rachel - I just "discovered" her earlier tonight - and it's not my intention to upset anyone or to downplay Ms Prices's considerable talent - but IMHO - Jackson Browne will be remembered as a genius long after Ms. Price is a mere footnote to music history

Maybe it's just her intention to be a beautiful person with a beautiful voice that brings enjoyment to people. As the last lines in this song states: "Don't confront me with my failures..I have not forgotten them". Maybe more of us should take the "genius's" words to heart.
One of my favourite Jackson Browne's masterpiece. Its so freshly done here.A classic in itself.

I’ve yet to find something she has done that I don’t adore, a’times more than the original. Like ‘I Want You Back’. Or this…
Goosebumps! I hope that Jackson Browne will get to hear what You young people did with his song.
My favorite singer, one of my dad's favorite songs....oh, my heart
nice I love pure music. No auto tuner - no computers. Lovely.
As a fan of Jackson Browne forever, this interpretation of his classic brought the tears. I’m praying you guys come to Kentucky or Indiana!!
so much 70's soul and vibe...She would have been a mega star back then....but why not now??? She's amazing.
Artists at the pinnacle of musical expression and performance. Jackson Browne's classic composition sung by Rachael Price. Doesn't get any better than this. Thanks for posting.
I am stunned. Such a beautiful heart-rendering cover of this song. This song was written for Rachael.
One of the greatest voices I have ever heard. I've been a fan of Rachael Price since she first started with Lake Street Dive. This is truly a beautiful arrangement, and her voice is the icing on the cake.

The ochestral arrangement here, amplifying and sustaining certain notes, brings the melancholy to the forefront in a beautiful way. Lovely work by the vocalist, also.
Gorgeous version of Jackson Browne's song. Thank you Rachel.
"These days I seem to think a lot About the things that I forgot to do For you And all the times I had the chance to" I am at an age now where those lyrics resonate so much as I'm sure they do for many others.

That dude's Epiphone guitar sounds amazing, and of course the beautiful sound of Rachael's one of a kind vocal instrument. Outstanding!
What a pleasant surprise to see Rachael here! The arrangement is beautiful.
If I could imagine one thing I've wanted for the last decade, it's that this woman would come out with a serious solo album
Her voice is the real deal. Natural and powerful. Worlds beyond most of the fake crap on pop radio these days.

Wow! She not only sings it, she is the song. Totally into it.
Another stunning stories coupling the amazing Rachael Price with a classic sad song in an awesome arrangement!! 10/10
Rachael has a unique and rich voice. I love listening to her. stories alone is reason enough for me to pay for KZread.

What a beautiful rendition. So awesome to see his music carried by a completely new generation.
Wow... That touched me to my very soul. Thank you.
Oooooooooooooooooweeeee! You guys got Rachel in the house! Good stuff.
This just popped up for me. I recognized Ms. Price's face and clicked before reading a word of the title. If she's singing, I'm listening.
This was great! Rachael has been a fav for a long time and hearing her with the strings and wind behind was really nice.
I could watch and listen to Rachael Price forever
The trumpet playing, delicate, muted and flowing like a river through this tune really holds it together. Bravo!
Heaven and Rachael is an Angel ... waiting at the door X!
Stunning arrangement
Just beautiful, gorgeous arrangement and performance all round. There is a quality in Rachel’s voice that touches me deeply, I have been raised and fed on those wonderful soul singers of the past and she is their equal for sure, a special talent.
The best birthday present for Rachel!
aah,, Rachael, a voice to die for.
My heart has been waiting to listen to this. I'm fully fulfilled. The arrangement is mindblowing.
Rachael Price: A voice lined with velvet!❤
this is stunning
I love hearing Rachel sing so beautiful!
that voice, that woman - pure perfection.
Gosh what a singer. I forget how good she is
What a voice, what a pleasure ! Beautiful.
This is absolutely brilliant. I have always loved this song. You have made it a real treat to listen to. Rachel and the arrangement made my hair stand on end. Thanks!
Yes Ryan, great song and fantastic rendition! Sometimes I’m disappointed about music in our time, but this channel revives me, wonderful music, thanks again mate
"don't confront me with my failures, I have not forgotten them" what a confession, the entire song is a kind of confessional and this ensemble really captured the mood so originally. Back in the day almost no one covered his songs. I think because his singing style was unusual or whatever. But what you have done is so original and true and beautiful. Thank you.
This is possibly Jackson Browne's greatest piece of work and to hear Rachael cover it simply proves that,Between the musical accompanying and the smooth richness of of her singing makes this a true classic!
I sat a while and thought about something musically significant to say but, it was absolutely gorgeous is enough, I think. Kudos to everyone involved.
Voice of an angel. Rachael is the most and this ensemble and version, breathtaking. Thanks for posting
That is the collab I've been waiting for for years!
Excellent vocals, beautiful arrangement. I'm sure happy I found this piece.

It's so hard not to have expectations after seeing the thumbnail for this. I've actually hoped to see her here ever since you scored Rachael at SP. It was extra SPECIAL that yMusic collaborated and Hideaki was back for this one. I'm also so glad that you included yourself in this one Ryan.
