The WORST Uber Ride I've Ever Driven (Absolute CREEP Passenger)

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, so I thought I'd share this experience I had last year. This was, by far, the most uncomfortable and unsafe any of my 7,000+ Uber and Lyft rides ever made me feel. In hindsight, I really should have kicked this f*cking creep to the curb, but I was afraid to escalate anything. My moment-by-moment thoughts are detailed throughout, including my very literal plan to drive into the highway barrier if this guy tried to attack me. There are also, of course, some idiots on the road that I passed by during this trip.

Why do we have signs? Lane markings? Traffic lights? Parking spaces?
Apparently, if you're entitled enough, you can ignore all of these things.
Police in Seattle have been pretty much neutered from being able to enforce traffic laws. And boy, do people take advantage of this.
When nobody says or does anything, common courtesy goes out the window. "I do whatever I want! Who cares if I'm in someone's way?"
My mission is to buck that trend. If you're going to be careless and inconsiderate on the road, I want to know WHY you think it's ok.
Maybe I'll teach a few people some things; after all, if nobody told you, how are you supposed to know?
But doubling-down on one's entitled behavior is, sadly, the standard expectation. Which I find to be quite entertaining 😆
Be better, people! Our safety depends on it!
Give my brothers a helping hand, they deserve it! 🥰

I have had women hit on me too, but with them its much more subtle but you kinda know you're getting hit on when the conversation goes way deeper than just surface chat. I don't like to mix business with pleasure, so i do appreciate when ppl who do chat just keep things on the surface Surface chat - is when they just talk about current events in news or whatever, the weather, traffic, they say they have a bf or husband without you asking. Convo moves slower , quite big gaps in conversion Deeper convos - they ask more personal questions, they say they're single without you asking, they say they live alone . Some even straight out say you're attractive. Etc Convo seems to move at like a 100mph and no gaps to even speak yourself 😂
