The Six A's of Stress Management: Finding Peace and Healing

Ойын-сауық

In this episode, I share insights from a book I'm currently working on, centered around the seven principles of health. One of the foundational concepts discussed is the six A's of stress, beginning with "air," highlighting the significance of mindful breathing to foster a deeper connection with our bodies and stay grounded in the present moment. I encourage you, as listeners, to explore these principles firsthand and to share your experiences with us, as your feedback helps validate the efficacy of this approach.

I used the "A" words structure for something stressful right after I watched this. Very helpful - Thank you!

Sorry but you don’t just ‘break free’ from pain, ill health and stress…. That is something that people who have not had long term chronic pain (and the stress caused by the debility from it, would say.) Yes, you certainly can make things easier by being mindful of ourselves in the now. But please don’t get caught up in what I call ‘smiley thinking’…. That if you are mindful that you are going to feel better, have no pain, have no stress - all we can do is ACCEPT the reality of what IS, NOW (including suffering), and just BE with what is happening. Ps. Liked your video, but the title was terrible.

Thanks for sharing. Here I’m not suggesting positive perspective makes the pain go away but turns down the suffering. Pain and suffering are two different things. You are correct all we can do is accept it now but we always have a choice to feed or not feed the suffering.
