    You are raising a great point about looking at sugar levels , and by extension all other human medical issues . I think your way of looking at human physical anomalies in medical practice is missing in our medicine . Understanding the context of a medical issue is better way to remedy the ailment than narrowly targeting a symptom. After all our body is a soup bowl of random variables(context) which are unique to individual patients. Symptoms may be common to all diabetic patients, for example, but each one of them arrives at the station with different mode of transport. Thanks Doc.

    I wish my sugar would only rise to 120 when stressed. I never took care of myself and I’ve been a diabetic for over 20 years. Please people take care of yourself.

    @@DrLaurieMarbas I don't challenge that point at all. My question was what are your thoughts on the body's capability of producing water from stored fat cells which would then reduce the amount of exogenous fluid you're suggesting we should be consuming daily?

    My irritation with glucose numbers is the deviation. For example yesterday I ate one meal the entire day which consisted of a chick fil a chargrilled sandwich and a medium fry. My glucose level at bed time was 104. When I woke up I checked and it was 153! I don’t get it especially without consuming anything else.

    Ultra process food. Nothing at Chick fil A is healthy.

    Chicken vegetables are good part in chickfilla but not fries and white bread part.. morning sugar are generally higher for all

    @@asinh1100 i knew that the fries and the bread were not good however, because of my job it was the better option I had at the time. My frustration was that it was the only meal I had that day and that night my glucose was 104. The next morning it was higher at 153. Logically I would have thought that it should’ve been lower not higher.

    @@hashtagjustadad5110 morning high .. between 3 to 5 am liver dumps double it’s hourly rate of glucose to give ready energy for fasting body .. that makes sugar higher till 7 to 8 am .. very normal
