A no nonsense character who likes to show who is the boss, especially with the Hyenas. ( I should of course mention Gabby, as you can never relax with Gabby ! ). Bobcat to me is classic lion. The respect in your relationship is awesome to behold and I do feel that pooey moments smell wonderful. You are allowed to share his walks and supply tyres for scatty Gabby, we just love the sharing. Some creatures have a natural majesty, this boy has it. My friends in Zim have got a wildlife sanctuary and they have a beautiful male lion which has epilepsy. They’ve had him since he was a cub and recently a Vet from SA came to give him an eye operation as he had developed a huge tumor. It got so bad that he stopped eating. After the successful operation his appetite has returned and he looks so bad-ass with the scar where his eye use to be. I love my friends in Zim and they have such wonderful hearts for the wildlife.

The year Bobcat survived the awful wildfire was definitely his best year. Bobcat is probably my favourite male lion, (it really is hard to choose a favourite) ❤ mostly due to his vocalising. I know every grunt, groan, moan, grizzle, grumble and roar that comes out of Bobcat. Thanks so much Kevin, for sharing this fabulous video with us today. I’m sure you agree that there aren’t enough adjectives in the world to describe the pure majesty that is Bobcat. 🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁❤️❤️❤️❤️

Kevin, this video brought me to tears. I don’t have enough superlatives to describe Bobcat. He is an absolutely magnificent, majestic, beautiful lion. Just looking at his face and those eyes just hypnotizes me. He’s the perfect example of a powerful apex predator. I’ve got 2 Bobcat T-shirts and I wear them with pride. You are so fortunate to be accepted by him and your bond is so touching. I love hearing him roar. It’s a beautiful sound and stirs my soul. I recently started watching your channel. I never realized that lions had such Black manes. Bob cat is so beautiful!!. He majestic and proud. And at the same time , he really loves you Kevin. Bobcat is a magnificent black maned lion! When they say lions are regal they are describing Bobcat. He walks with his head high and doesn't like anyone (except Kevin) to look directly into his eyes. Looking directly into a lion's eyes is a challenge and Bobcat does not brook any of that! However, he's extremely tolerant of Gabby who is all fun & nonsense. Opposites truly attract in this pair! I love Bobcat and am grateful to have watched him over the years. It's been a joy and a privilege to get to know this king, Bobcat the lion! 💕🦁💕

Bobcat is my favourite lion of all your guys, closely followed by Meg. I love the way he is so strong and has maintained his wonderful condition over these years. You forget the absolute power. These magnificent animals have but with you there just like big pets. Love how you are with them.

I wish I could have a bond with a big cat like I do with my smaller versions . Every kitty that I have rescued has turned into my best buddy and even my protector when I'm sad or ill. Head bumps galore and tons of purrs. If I had that with a big cat - pure respect and love,that would be wonderful. Alas a wild cat is just that, wild, and a person can never completely trust it wont see you as food!.

Bobcat has to be a prime example of a Lion. He's a very content cat when he's settled and he does kinda gets the spotlight taken from him at times by Gabby in the videos when you take them for a walk. Two very unique characters.
