Thank you for the reunion set of videos, this has been great!! Suja and Bongani are looking fabulous, and the love they have for each other and you, is awesome. They missed you soo much, because they've been with you for soo many amazing years. Duke and Khan are loving sweethearts, they love Kevin's scratches. They are soo sleek and beautiful. Soo exciting to see Naiobi and Echo. I'm happy the girls are soo loving and kind, and sharing the rubs. How wonderful to see Geena and Woody (how are Nancy and Ringo doing?). Geena looks amazing for 21 years old, wow! Geena and Woody had a treat from array of scents and rubs. I look forward to your videos, visiting with Kevin and his furry friends, from enrichment walks, feeding days, moving days, hanging out in their enclosures and even vet visits. It's really amazing how old those 2 are! 20! Wow...way past their average in the wild. They're lucky to be there and receive such great care. All the animals look great!

Kevin, your animals are so beautiful and you speak of them with such pride! You are one of the greatest men on the planet!

Kevin ive said this a hundred times and ill say it another 100 times. GOD BLESS YOU and your team of helpers and Dr. Caldwell and his team🙏 Kevin you have worked tirelessly for over 20 tears to get all these animals from your last job, to save their lives. I know from your older videos what you went thru and that is just what you videoed. There was MORE than your share of red tape you had to indure. Finding land and purchasing it, getting enclosures ready for the animals, securing permits and vaccinations and traveling and transporting these animals in a very critical window of time. It all didnt go as planned, some animals didnt and wouldnt load some had to be sadated. The naughty hyennas that wrecked their transport cage had to be fixed on the side of a road with hyenna havoc on the loose. You had to of aged 50 years them days so long ago. And you stayed true to your commitment and stayed true to every single animal you brought with you. You have sacraficed so much of your time, your family time with your wife and kids and extended family. To keep your promise to a bunch of lions, leopards and hyennas who have became your 4 legged family. You AMAZE ME and i applaud your word, will determination and devotion to not only taking such abundant care of these animals giving them Beautiful land, enclosures, food, excellant medical and dental care and MOST important your time, commitment, LOVE and in all this your time to educate US and ALL your work outside of the sanctuary. I dont know how you do it all. These are the luckiest animals to have you as their pride member❤ and WE are so appreciative that you allow us to look into your world while you are doing ALL YOU DO for these amazing animals that have you by their sides. YES, Kevin is married with children. His wife does things for sanctuary and his speaking appearances and such, plus a lot more. She works behind the scenes.

Kevin thank you for sharing the reunion with some of your oldest animals. You can tell they're just genuinely happy to see you again. Like greeting an old friend.

Proper trust and knowing the animals will not see you as a threat. Zoos do not interact with animals like this because they don't have the insurance coverage on all their employees should one of them be stupid enough to get killed by one of the animals, so they are taught to interact as little as possible, which means there's no trust for the human with the animals. Getting to know the animals and take care of them and interact with them when they are young, sick, they will know who you are and know you are a friendly.

I got a wonderful greeting from a lion I knew in Argentina. I met him every trip from 2010 to 2019. The last one, he was excited to see me and I sat with him for an hour, stroking his mane. I was planning on going again 2020, but THE MYSTERIOUS VIRUS OF UNCERTAIN ORIGIN happened, and conditions in Argentina changed drastically after that. I'm sure the poor old fellow is dead by now. He'd be 25 if he was still alive, extremely old for a lion.

One of my favorite videos yet! It does my heart good to see so many elderly lions thriving under Kevin and his crew's care.

There was a lioness in a local zoo, well-loved by everyone, who lived til just over 25. She was very arthritic by the end and was starting to lose her fur. Another lioness there lived to 23.

How incredible. A good man who is part of a tribe of exquisite animals. The love and respect is overflowing. Thankyou for caring and sharing these beautiful moments.

I saw these e Pilchards and Tomato Sauce at my local supermarket and my first instinct was to go 'Oh, Duke and Khan would LOVE these!' and almost picked up a can thinking they were just down the road from me haha. Two beautiful leopards, and a sanctuary full of wonderful animals in themselves. I can't praise you higher now you've had me looking for Pilchards in Tomato Sauce lol x

I love those two old lions, Suja and Bongani - the way they walk along with their sides pressed against each other. It is almost as if they are helping each other, propping each other up. So huggable.

Seeing Duke and Khan helping themselves to a serving of pilchards, it makes me think of how I would react to my favorite sweet tomato-based pizza sauce.

We should always take care of elderly humans, and animals because that will take us another step in the right direction to create a better world. Thank you for being a true angel. 🦁

Watching Kevin interact with these amazing cats is the height of wholesome entertainment.

The fact that so many of the lions have lived so long just shows how well you take care of the lions. They all look much younger than their actual age. I am dreading that so many will be passing away in the next few years. I have grown to love 💕 them as I have watched Lion Whisperer tv.

14:00 it’s always surprising to me how big hyenas are. Especially their heads, all that space to hold such powerful jaw muscles

Hi Kev… My house cat is 23 yrs old and like Suja, is in incredible condition, has amazing vitality and .. just like Bongani .. has also lost her curvacious rump.😹… Nonetheless…it just goes to prove that with good care, a healthy diet and attentive support we can all improve our chances at optimum life quality and longevity… You are the defining reference in understanding this and they are blessed indeed to be in your loving care.

Absolutely loved this. Hyena are so smart and the smorgasbord of smells would be enrichment for them. Seeing the distinguished grandpas was a treat. Love to you Kev, all the crew and the stars of the show, all the animals.

It's such a blessing to age gracefully. This is a superb wise old group of cats and hyenas. I just love 'em!!

Niobe is one of my favourite cats, but if I'm honest I love all of Kev's animals. It's always a joy to see them.

The amazing health and state these lions are at shows how incredibly well they are taken care of. They couldn't have had a better life.

The quality of life those old males have is truly remarkable. For a maie in a wild pride, their "shift" is over probably not much past 5 years of age, as their genetic service to their species is at an end, and life alone is harsh. A huge upside to their lives with Kevin is that they get to experience a massively prolonged retirement in their golden years.

I love them all. I especially love the leopards and Meg. I also love that you've discovered their love of catnip! 😍

Kevin I absolutely admire the way you coordinate with the lions. I mean it’s just truly exquisite seeing you bond with your cub raised lions, your loyalty to them is absolutely idyllic and I hope the lions feel the same way about you. Even tho you went through trials and tribulations you still kept your head up, despite the fact you raised these cubs when they were once helpless into mature, loving, caring & loyal animals. To my knowledge, the miracle eight cheetah group was split up and relocated. 3 of them went to The Amakhala Reserve as credited by this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gpN8rrqMmrDKn8Y.html. You can watch them on youtube. I don’t know where the other 5 ended up at.

I've been watching you and all of these lovely characters for many many years and I am still blown away by how they are with you and how wonderful all of them are. I love them all.

Watching Kevin's interactions with the animals has taught me the nuances in how to speak my 2 cats and my dog in their language lol. Higher tones in my voice for my cats, making certain familiar sounds that the recognize, at certain times, like greeting them in their language, when I wake up or come home from work etc! It has improved our already great relationship by 110%! Also where I volunteer at an animal rescue/sanctuary I am the favorite of almost all of the animals, because of this lol. Thank you Kevin! You have inspired me to be better!
