Hi Everyone! I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed the walk! Some of you have noticed that Bobcat has developed a slight limp recently - we’ve been treating it with some anti inflammatories and pain killers. If it persists we’ll be sure to have it scanned at the vet. Exercise is good for it so the walk is a good thing. Keep you posted. Aging is not pleasent for everyone... So good pain killers and inflammatories help many of us, people and animals! You know how to take care of Bobcat in the best way possible as for all animals at the sanctuary🥰 You are the best❣

Soo sweet to see Bobcat and Gabby marking the same tree. They definitely needed their enrichment walk. Bobcat and Gabby look fantastic for 16 years old! I can't wait to see the film, I believe all of us, your members, care about the lions' survival! I've thought about our impact since I was a child. Our humanity is also measured in how we treat all the animals we share our planet with. Good luck with the film festival! Bobcat is a sweetheart, he wants to help exercise the hyenas (which clan was it?). 😄Soo amazing, seeing Bobcat stalking through the tall grass, and Gabby is beautiful girl walking with Kevin. So sorry to learn about Bobcat’s limp and pain. Suffering from arthritis, I know how walking with pain is no fun… Of course, I know, you’re talking good care of him and all the other furry friends in your care🙏🏻 Stunning to see beautifully he is aging, getting such a dark mane and he black on his hind legs. Lions are lucky to look even more amazing with aging❤️ I know, not all lions do… That’s one of the advantages of not having to face competitors. Just like for example the gorgeous male lion at Amakhala… Gaby of course is very beautiful too. Shouldn’t forget about that nice lady❤️Looking forward to your short film! I hope there’s never gonna be a time we have to talk about “The Last Lion”. It’s shameful as it is right now… But of course we cannot give up hope and keep on fighting for wildlife on this wonderful planet we call home🙏🏻❤️🐾

To add to that, he never breaks concentration while still being aware of Kevin and his camera blocking his view momentarily. Almost a “hey, I’m stalking here” motion with his head. Even in moments when instinct takes over, he still recognizes Kevin’s presence. Just a slight reminder that these are still wild animals, and our interactions are only what they allow. And our instructions still remain suggestions to them.

The "trailer" of the movie short made me cry. How BEAUTIFUL they are!! ❤God's creatures great & small❤

@@danmyers9372 Matter of opinion. I think the potential for lions being lost from the wild is all too real and that calls for a bit of drama, but l found it to be quite level and not at all dramatic.

What a beautiful Lion and Lioness. The way he was slowly walking to the hyena 🤣😂😂

And all the other cat species awesome animals I know that in Russia President Putin has protected the tiger the Siberian tiger I also believe that in India there are sanctuaries to protect tigers and leopards

Bobcat in stalk mode is just phenomenal…he really wanted a hyena 😂

Bobcat and Gaabbbbyyy! The footage at about 4.37 is amazing - just look at how big Bobcat is against Kevin. These are truly grand animals. 🦁Then to see his paws at ground level as he starts to stalk and then those eyes. Just wow! 😍Glad he managed to give the hyenas a run for their money 😂It just also would not be a Gabby and Bobcat video without Gabby going for the tyres 😂Wishing you all the best for the film! I hope it does well at the film festivals - holding all thumbs for that!! The trailer looks amazing!!

It is an honor to help support these beautiful creatures. I started tearing up watching the trailer with my favorite cat Bobcat. Kevin thank you for letting us be a part of the pride.❤

Gabby is just unbelievably hilarious! I know that her ruining tires is an expensive way for her to find fun but hopefully she will find another way to amuse herself!!

Bobcat is such a majestic lion. Definitely a great choice to represent the last lion. I plan to watch the documentary. Hope we can get a lioness documentary.

I loved hearing Bobcat at the beginning of the walk. I think he was telling you “I’m off to stir up hyena!”, right from the start. Poor Gabs being ignored and then thwarted from her tyre biting quest! Well done George on evading her. I can imagine how frightening it must be to be hunted by a big cat, even when inside a vehicle. Poor Gabby must be disappointed she didn't get to chew down on at least one of the tyres, maybe next time. I know "The Last Lion" will be beautiful, I have my tissues ready for Monday. Yes I was concerned about Bobcat’s limp. Very happy to know that he is being treated. The Last Lion video looks like a winner. I would like very much to become a member but unfortunately I have a lot on my plate. As soon as I get things turned around joining the sanctuary is my next priority.
