Darwin was a mere 26 year old with little scientific knowledge, when he came out with some erratic ideas, based only on theory. He was also a complete atheist into the bargin and turned many away from a spiritual understanding.

Bobcat should do a shampoo commercial. His hair is bouncy, full and flowing.

I have to admit. I would like for just once to not watch Kevin’s videos while on the edge of my chair. I still worry about his safety. However, I am so glad he’s been blessed with this task to care for abused/abandoned animals.

He's such a magnificent specimen. His mane is so gorgeous and full. It looks like he has a jacket on. Gabby is a beautiful lioness, they both inherited good genes.

If you notice and look at the bodies you see they haven't been fighting in the wild with those killer lions and lionesses. Their skin is clear and their face is not scared up. A sign they have not been in vicious fights.

True. We are heading for a 4 th lockdown I am sure because.....ok Let's not get political here but I know we are. When eveb Health personel working with ICU patients are forced to be vaxxinated......what do they expect..... I was alone 23 hours a day for almost 2 years now and my health hit a low I never knew and even if I politely ask people to keep their distance ( 2feet max) I get mocked and shouted at because people will suddenly stop and stay 5 feet away ....though I'm high risk at 41.... These videos keep me somehow sane.

It can weigh very heavily on you, especially when you’re just trying to go about your day. Praying for you, and you found a great place to find some solace. I’ve been following Kevin Richardson for a long time. It’s good to have a quiet relaxing place like this, to watch and see these lions thrive! It’s such a beautiful and joyful place to find some peace🙏

"What a privilege!" No doubt! I think it's one of the reasons Kevin does so much good work. After all these years, he still recognizes that being in such proximity to these incredible animals is indeed a privilege.

Gabby and Bobcat compliment and balance each other so perfectly! Bobcat is predictable, majestic and regal and Gabby is feminine, playful and predictably unpredictable ! 🤣 Thank you for your courage and sacrifices KR. Love and abundance to us all.

How precious is that giant paw resting on Kevin's knee? That last moment of Bobcat resting in the shade was more effective than any meditation exercise I could attempt. Such a feeling of contentment, awe, and peace. Thank you for the ultra-closeup shots. Almost like burying my nose in Bobcat's mane. What a treat. And Gabby....she's my idol...full of mischief like all old girls should be.

Love to see Bobcat and learn about this lion. He is exceptionally beautiful for sure. Kevin never lets us down with his educational video

I love Gabby, playful and mischievous, just waiting for any chance to pounce Kevin. But Bobcat is so handsome. Beautiful main, lovely swagger and dark legs, lovely shaped eyes and face. Thank you as always for these great videos so full of info.

It's sad to know that without kevin that alot of these animals would not have a good quality of life or worse would be killed. He is truly an amazing person that the world need more people like

@@HkFinn83 I have seen a lot of people said that but rarely try to find out why they are here with Kevin. Some of them are in difficult physical condition, most are born in captive and rescued from hunters and can hunting and etc. so it's hard to release them back into the wild where others packs are already there. Kevin tries as much as he can to help these lions, walking them into wild areas, providing food and medicine for over two decades with love and care. If you are thinking what Kevin's doing is wrong, I would suggest watching his other videos and researching on the topic with open mind and heart. I apologize because my writing is horrible since I am not a native who use English in daily basic but hope you understand what I mean. Have a nice day 🦁💕

The lions are all beautiful and special. Truly a special calling to understand them and interact with them. Kevin Richardson makes it look effortless but it's taken a lot of time and patience to know the cats, leopards and hyenas. My praise is very high!

I noticed Kevin’s head is on a swivel all the time while out for a walk. Good survival skills. Love to watch Bobcat walk, he’s so powerful.

Is it weird for a human to have a crush on a lion? Asking for a friend, hahaha! What an impressive dude. Though Gabby is so deserving of him. They truly are the power couple of the group. Can totally imagine them being king and queen of the wild but so happy they have Kevin and we get the privilege of following their journey. "Both of the men in your life are gonna give you a smack" really made me chuckle.

The "No Gabby" at around 3:05 scared the heck out of me. Whewww, first time I was pretty scared for Kevin. Awesome video, thanks for the education and the visuals.

This guy was a lion in another life.

The girls loves you as a play partner and their Man. Bobcat, it's more like a brother or a father. The emotions in their eyes is very different from each other when they come for a rub or a cuddle.

He only has to be on guard with Gabby, because she will pounce on him, like he is another lion. Gabby doesn't have any female companions to wrestle, play and get all of her cat energy out on. Bobcat won't let her do it to him. So she takes it out on Kevin. She doesn't bite or use her claws. She just pounces him, like she would another female companion. These lions are his family, and would never hurt him.

Been watching Kevin's videos for years. Never ceases to amaze me that it's even possible to be so close to lions, even ones you raised.. and live to tell about it.

Bobcat is my favorite because he’s gorgeous and he comes to greet you when you’re near. He loves his dad. 🥰

"Gabbylicious..." Love Kevin's affectionate names for all his pride members...I wonder what name Kevin is given by his lion pals? I vote for "most wonderful human who cares for us", [how ever that is said in Lion-ease😊❤] Bobcat is always just such a regal beauty. All the critters under Kevin and his group's care are blessed to have a life that they would not otherwise have, and we would not have the pleasure of getting to know them all. Thank you for the opportunity to view them in a very personal way.

It is such a privilege to be allowed into this wonderful world of lions. I love these stories and I believe Bobcat and Gabby are among my favorites. The part at the end where you got to cuddle with Bobcat is priceless. I love his gorgeous mane. Thank you for allowing us to come with you on these walks and experience these wonderful animals.

My two favorite lions - Bobcat and Gab. So handsome and stately.

Bobcat is magnificent, to have the relationship Kev has with him is beyond special.

Gabby is honestly hilarious 😂

Moments like sitting with your lion in the shade of a bush, and having him smoosh his face into yours, just makes all the hard work and heartache worthwhile. ❤️

Though each lion is a work of art, Bobcat has a special place in our heart!

Kevin said in this video that modern lion experts disagree with Darwin's assertion that the male's mane was there to protect the vulnerable neck area from jaws or claws in a fight. But rather, that the actual purpose of the mane is to show maturity, health, and good genes to anyone looking at him--particularly lionesses. But, regardless of purpose, are Kevin and the modern lion experts he cites and agrees with saying that the mane does NOT offer any significant protection to the vulnerable neck are from jaws and claws in a fight? Have they determined, either from watching fights occur, or even just from handling/petting the mane, that it is not much of a protection as one might think? Or, are Kevin and the modern experts of the belief that, no, the purpose of the mane is not protection of the neck, but as a side benefit, the mane does provide significant protection to that vulnerable area?

That mane is full up to his chest, never seen one that is actually full and has smoothness to it. Black manes are very beautiful.

@@rachelschwebach7566 Lion litters aren't very far apart since they take the cubs from the Mom in captivity to be petted. She goes back into estrus and gets pregnant again. In Bobcat and Gabby's case, Kevin has said they are siblings. They don't have to be from the same litter, just the same Mom and Dad.

I'm watching this again for the umpteenth time. This is one of my fave videos. It is after the fire and I think the day of the fire showed us who Kevin's favorite lion is. He said he'd let Bobcat out if he had to. That's why the other lions don't roar when Bobcat roars. They intuitively know that Bobcat is alpha with Kev. What a beautiful lion he is...and I just love Gabby too

Yes he walks casually by them but doesn't stop to pet or overly photograph them. They are used to him. He is aware of the boundaries with these animals.

Just beautiful I love to watch the part at the end when Kev is sitting in the shade with his lions, almost spiritual, so special could watch for hours in fasvination the way they accept key and groom him. I had told a friend of mine just yesterday that I wish I could pet a Lion or a Tiger. My friend and I went to a big zoo in September 2019. And it was a thrill of a lifetime to see Tigers and a Lion in person. I got some nice pictures. No fence. Just natural barriers. Oh, and the Lion roared as it walked. It was a thrill! Got that on video. Trying to get back to that zoo as a Lion Pride is there with 3 cubs about 9 months old.
