I removed the T handle on the puller Steve and had a nut welded on which fits my socket and makes the job super easy. Even though you didn't have an issue with this one, it's just food for thought. I did the same to my nut and feral remover for the angle valves, they work great. Great video as usual with great content, keep them coming, big fan Steve!!!!

45 years ago the same plumbers and carpenters installed a bunch of symmons valves too low, compared to the rough hole in the shower stall wall. Thats the second valve in 2 weeks you needed to notch the wall to get to the divertor

When I was a teenager, I believe that what you call "white metal": we called "Monkey Metal". Very weak, cheap, and unreliable. The broken ends revealed a granular composition. "Back Burner" guy...yeah, some characters have all kinds of strategies and POWER plays to get you to jump through hoops and serve exclusively at their convenience. If you are a struggling business, they will get you "trained" quick! It`s like Dr. Phil McGraw said: "You TEACH people how to treat you". Steve knew better than to be played.

  • @craigharding475

I respectfully disagree, sir. The customer is not always right. And you are doing them a disservice if you do not set them straight and thus allow them to continue down the wrong path. After all: they depend upon our knowledge, experience and expertise. Steve correctly applied all three in this case. The customer does not always know what is good for them...or even always act in their OWN self interest.

Those shower valve handles can be a bitch to get off. I noticed you put some lube on it when you reinstalled it. Do you use plumbers grease? I have a small tube of anti-seize that works good to. Be well.
