Thanks Paul! Getting my son out with me was a great time! Finding all the shiny was a bonus. We have a trip planned in July to go out west. He wants to go exploring some old mines. Hoping we get past this covid 19 so we can actually make the trip.

Need this stay at home order to end so I can get out and about. Work has me restricted to staying in the community.

If you classify that with a 50 mesh, all the black sand will go thru it your gold will be on top. You can then pan it quick and efficiently

Great video thanks! I'm in Oakland County and just getting started. Do you mind if I ask round about where you are? I plan on hanging with the michigan chapter of the GPAA and meeting them in April at Athens. Just trying to get an idea of where people in michigan have been finding gold.

I think 12 pieces in one pan is a record for Southwest Michigan! I hear 1-2 pieces and you're lucky

You don't want Black Sands out of your pan into the other pan?

Have to be careful with black sand because it’s easy to wash the gold out with the black sand.

You need a electronic black sand separator. Pouring into it. Blk sand is moved while while falling and is carried by a rotating magnet . Gold falls straight down,spinning magnet carries the magnetic heavys over a hump .

I follow your videos and decided to go try a few times and I think I hit the jack pot finding like 50 or 100 flakes per pan we could split the job and profits if you bring your sluice box and some equipment im a hard worker hahahah and I'm pretty sure your close to me also! I've just been using gold pans and sifting pans

If you only have flour gold why don't you classify it smaller than half inch? Would be easier on clean up.

This spot is 1/4 mile off road and all down hill to get to it. Everything I carry in, I have to carry out. This sluice has been converted to a super sluice and I no longer classify anything.
