Theres also a hidden value that you can see in the code with the editors. Previously it was called fame and had a bit of effect in the overall but now it directly increases or decreases up to 5 points in the overal. Meaning a 80 OVR player can go from 75 to 85 just by changing this value, but it will only change the price i in UT and career.

For attackers add all the stats and divide it by 5(Defensive stats dint matter) For midfielders add all the stats and divide it by 5.5(defense and attacking matter a bit) For defender add all the stats and divide it by 5(attacking stats dont matter) Hope this helps

easiest way to do it is remove the anomalous results, in this case it’s physical and defending, and divide by however many non anomalous results are left

guys all of you are wrong, the overall is not calculated by pace shooting, passing dribbling etc but stats that make up for pace shooting passing dribbling def and physical, so for example agility despite contributing to dribbling doesnt raise rating but ball controll which also contributed to dribbling does raise overall

Its not based on that at all. The cards are weighed by attributes and not face stats. This also depends on their position. For example shooting is prioritized for strikers.
