Let's be clear he stepped down from his position because he stated that as a result of Covid he couldn't put his health at risk. That made complete sense, as at the time we didn't know how long it would be before any vaccine would obtain approval from the Medicines regulator. So he was not fired, the BBC wanted him to carry on, he stepped down from his position.

So pleased to see him going great guns. What a fighter he is (considering what he’s going through in the last few years). I’d been quite worried as he’d been completely out of the limelight for a while.

I feel bad for Englishmen like Geoffrey.... He is as British as they come, but he would hate the country he would find himself in if he walked around any major city.

If you look in the dictionary the word 'Cricket' the description should be Sir Geoffrey Boycott!

Miss listening to the cricket. Was brilliant when talent was a pre-requisite. Now it's less exciting than listening to paint dry.

Geoffs mum lived next door to us in fitzwilliam. We used to love it when he was home from tours because he always had time for a knock about with us kids.
