Ambrose - the gentleman of cricket. What a childhood we had ..watching him bowl continuously. Master of pace , bounce , swing , length , slow ball. The best thing about ambrose was he was able to read the face and mindset of game plan of any batsman. He had read very well the batsmans like waugh brothers , sachin , azhar , Inzy, martin crowe , arvind disilva , dean jones , alan border , stephen fleming , nathan astle , saeed anwar , graham gooch ... amazing days of 90s in cricket world.. missing those days

Really brought smile in my face, that how golden days was before in cricket ❤️

Ambrose was such a great bowler, he had everything pace, accuracy, hostility, bounce and seam movement damn near unplayable at times.

The 90’s and early 00’s CURTLEY AMBROSE GLENN MCGRATH WASIM AKRAM WAQAR YOUNIS ALLAN DONALD COURTNEY WALSH SHAUN POLLOCK CHAMINDA VAAS FANIE DE VILLIERS These bowlers really tested the technique of batsmen. Not only they had the variations to outfox the best of the best but also they made sure that even on their bad days (which were rare), the batsmen worked extremely hard to score runs. U had to be really skillful, determined, and technically exceptional to survive these lot. Thats why the likes of TENDULKAR, LARA, DRAVID, MARK WAUGH, PONTING , CHANDEPAUL, KALLIS etc will always stand out compared to this generation.

So what that's the rule of nature nothing is permanent..all temporary..One day cricket will be wiped out..and the future generations won't even know that there was some game with name cricket..same happening with football even it's passion is not Soo much like wat it use to be decade back...old goes new comes... Our old ancestors also use to play games..but do we play it now...change is the rule

These were the golden days of cricket with proper boundaries and sixes with big crowds generating awesome atmosphere. West Indies were always competitive in those times. Because there was less televised games in those times, it made you look forward to watching them more..
