As an Indian cricket fan, what was worse was India lost 2-1 at home in 2012. I really don't think Indian Cricket has recovered after that 0-8 losses in England and Australia - been glimpses of good cricket, but not really consistent!

Nop...india now is a top ranked test team....the team in 2011 had a terrible bowling attack ...now it’s completely different ...a test series win in Australia was massive and india are doing well to back that up again this time despite playing their B team ...and well at home india is the toughest country to tour now ...every series is a whitewash despite the fact that Indian pitches for home tests these days have much more pace and bounce and less spin .....

This series has been the real game changer. Still 3 more days to go in the Sydney test and one more test remaining, and if India can maintain this momentum, this will be an historic series

In about 3 years from this date, this team got smashed 5-0 by Australia 🇦🇺 in the Ashes and that series was a kinda mirror image of this India 🇮🇳 vs England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 series.

Its really shameful..but things like that happen..the players are tired..key players like Zaheer,Nehra didn't play and others like Gambhir,yuvraj,harbajan n sehwag were not fit..the team needs a break..After winning the world cup they dint get time to relax..They'll be back with a bang

Under Kohli, India won a series in Australia against a depleted side. Other than that, what other significant overseas win does he have to his credit?

@@sayakmandal3240 well, all the Indian players went to play in the IPL immediately after the world cup. This worsened their form snd Injuries. As a result India lost a lot of test matches in 2011.
