I live in Arizona too, the heat is killer :(. So it can be hard to sleep at times.

My dad figured out that Blake was part cat within 2 minutes of seeing her because he literally thought her bow was a pair of cat ears. 🤣

That was quite possibly the purest and most adorable reaction to Blake's White Fang revelation that I've ever seen ^_^

What is funny is that so many people are not surprised by Blake being a Faunus because they mistake her bow for cat ears. Loved your reaction to that, and to the argument. It is a tense moment in the team.

I laughed out loud when you made the cat comment about Blake the second you saw her face. Fun little detail to go back and find now that you know: At the beginning of chapter 8 "Players and Pieces", about a minute in, you can see Blake's bow twitch as her ears perk at hearing Ruby come falling from the sky.

I loooove your shirt so much, that made me really happy to see! :') so excited that you actually made the connection to the train from the Black trailer, so many reactors completely overlooked that/forgot about it! and you even remembered it has Weiss' symbol on it! that's why it also made me giggle when you said Blake's looked feline, now you know why. :D you're so perceptive, it's a joy to watch you!!

This was a great reaction overall, your reaction everything, Penny, Blake being Faunus, was great. I love Penny, she's so adorable! :3 also I love the part where Weiss and Ruby high five, cracks me up every time. XD

Your reaction to the Fahunus revelation was very satisfying. The experience is a little different for you than it was for us, because you watch the episodes nearly back to back. We had to wait at least a week for our fix, and we analyzed each frame and made predictions all the time in between episode releases. You are one of the few people I've seen that looked genuinely surprised to see the cat ears.

And this right here is why I place you above a large number of RWBY reactors. You actually correlated the train car being robbed in the black trailer with this story. Great job! Almost everything in RWBY happens for a reason, not EVERY little thing, but there ARE a lot of cues, and clues.

Well, about your comment about "feline eyes", that was actually the first time I heard anyone say that, just about 80-90% of other reactions I saw that just saw the Black trailer actually said "Oh cool! She has cat ears cat girls are so cute!" And then later on, they said "Oh, what? That's a BOW?! Dang, I REALLY wanted her to be a cat girl. Oh well." And when it was revealed right now, they all say "I CALLED IT FROM THE BEGINNING!!! She IS a cat girl! Yes!" So when you said cat EYES, that took me for a bit of a loop.

I came home from a 5 day festival today. I'm tired, got glitter and colour all over me and yet I couldn't go to bed without catching up on your schedule

That character was one of the few background characters the Rooster Team was able to fully design during the first volume. So they used him everywhere. Kind a of running joke now. You see him as store owners for all kinds of shops. That's why he is named Shopkeep.

I work graveyard shifts so I really enjoy your video posting schedule.

Your are right about the train in the black trailer beeing from the SDC (Schnee Dust Company) but Weiss wasnt talking about this incident in particular but more that similar things have happend alot in general during her childhood. You can also notice that the guy who was with blake in the trailer has small horns, so he is a Bull faunus. Im looking forward to the finale :-)

When you said that thing about blakes eyes... i was like ... WHAT!? HOW!? There are some more things you said about characters that had significance so prepare to be freaked.

something you may find interesting is during the credits look for how many of the voice actors also have other roles on the shows production

I've noticed from several reactors that they thought those were cat ears the moment they saw her. I thought they were cat ears when I first saw Blake too. So it made me have a hunch she was a cat girl or a neko as they can be called. Black cats do tend to have yellow/gold colored eyes. That was probably the first sign that gave it away that she could have had traits with a cat. The big reveal this episodes confirmed everything for me.

Ohhhh this is an episode I've been waiting for Molly to see! Sun, and Penny, and Blake's secret! Yup, Blake's a Cat Faunus! Her ears are adorable aren't they? Yes, the train car that Blake and Adam stole in the Black Trailer is a Schnee Dust Company train car.

Hey Molly! I didn't think Blake had cat ears until this episode, but a lot of people suspect it or wonder from the black trailer because they think the bow is two cat ears. I remember you commenting on her eyes when you watched the trailer, and I like that you picked out that detail instead :)

This is one of my favorite chapters of volume 1 because of that what the heck moment when Blake says We'll maybe we were just tired of being pushed around! The viewer and all of team RWBY is what in the world?! Also when Blake ran out she looked at the statue of the huntsmen triumphing over the Grimm. I think that is a symbol of what she wants to be, but most Faunus are discriminated and looked at like they are monsters. The White Fang is a very important part of this world.

The faunus are people with animal features, the white fang is a once peaceful group of faunus who have become terrorists and you can see a slight twitch in blake's bow in episode 4

Been a bit busy (god damn school) lately but I should be able to get an info summary up for these last few chapters! Loving the reactions so far Molly! 😀 😃 😄 😁

I was surprised by the reveal of Blake being a Faunus, too. Though there are clues leading up to it if you look closely. The tournament is a meeting of all the kingdoms and is part of a festival for the whole world of Remnant to come together. You'll get more on that as the show progresses. I really like Penny too, she's so quirky. :) For Volume 2, you should check out when the World of Remnant videos were released relative to the episodes and watch those in sequence with the show as well.

And we all smiled so big when you said in the Black trailer that she had feline eyes lol

The best kind of plot twist is the kind that's been right in front of your face the entire time. And that's like the only kind of twist RWBY knows how to do

Sun is a fun character (easy to do given the source, no spoiler) But I wish the writers could come up with character traits other than Criminal, they played that one way too much already. Its a good thing BurnieCop & JoelCop are idiots, otherwise most of the students we meet would be in prison

If you rewatch episode 8 - when Yang asks Blake if she heard that - her ears moved, making thw bow twitch :D. EDIT: To clarify: It should be around when Ruby falls down from the sky if I remember correctly.

Ya know, not many people notice the bit about the train car on their first watch. Well done

I was looking forward to this chapter. Remember every detail that even seems minor. They can sometimes be major later on.

I mentioned a while back that this show is a bit o a slow burn... this is one of those cases. There's been little hint drops thruout this season about Blake (and there are a couple of times you can see the bow wiggle as if there is something underneath. In addition you did a nice job in connecting the Black trailer to the events Weiss refers to. Very little in this show, especially in the first volume, is a throwaway line. You're getting a lot of data that you don't realize you are getting, and you more so than most reactors have done a great job of recalling those data drops and tying them into whatever the new development is. We are loving watching you go thru the same emotions and discoveries that we went through watching this series for the first time. In the unlikely event you aren't familiar with the term "catharsis" , look it up. It will help explain why we're all loving your reactions so much.

When your power of perception is so strong, you scare yourself 😂😂😂 that's the cuteness reaction to Blake being a cat I've ever seen BTW Faunus is a species, not a group or school. Basically add some animal to a human and you've got Faunus.

A lot of people actually saw that twist coming, which is sad. I think it's a design problem tbh - if her bow weren't black, fewer people would've thought they were ears in the trailer. I'm super excited to see you react to the finale! Sun's weapon is actually very similar to the first one I designed for myself wayyy back when Chapter 1 aired :D

Fun Fact: When RWBY slips into & out of slow motion for a wink or something, they use the time-slowing sound from The Slow Mo Guys

Just a preference, would be willing to give your thoughts during the credits of the finale for Vol 1. Makes it all continuous. It's your choice and I'm fine either way. Love the vids. :) Edit: Also, the credits are nice for learning names. Maybe you forgot a name or maybe it hasn't be said yet but the character has spoken. Edit 2: Credit hint not limited to Vol 1 specifically.

Legend has it that in the dark of the night, Molly will upload. Also, welcome to Penny. She is perfect. Also, also, good going remembering that Blake had someone with her on the train. Regrettably, most reactors forget that by now. Also, also, also, keep on keepin' on you human shaped ray of sunlight! Not the harmful kind, though, the Vitamin D kind.

Consider watching the last two episodes together from now on if possible it make the viewing experience way better as well as the reactions better to the finale to see them great video I'm glad you are loving rwby as much as we all do ^•^

i had this sortof opposite realization. i've become so used to animal people, especially cat people, being in everything that i didn't even notice it was a bow and thought it was low detail ears until the first time i saw the closeup in this episode. cat people in anime having yellow eyes so often didn't help that misunderstanding. it made for a very strange lead up to the reveal to have Weiss suddenly talking about faunis like that when she had one on her team the whole time

11:02 I had a similar moment when I was watching the intro. So basically when they brushed past her quickly in the trailer I sad to myself "wait did she have cat ears?" Of course I was to lazy to go back a check it againXD so I just keep watching to the next episode and realized I was just seeing things. Come to my surprise that I was right and I spent the rest of the episode bragging to my friend I was watching it with who said I was wrong that I was right.

It keep on getting better.

haha when i first watched the black trailer i saw her bow and went "does she have cat ears? oh no, it's a bow okay." i'm pretty sure the writers intentionally made us think "cat" just to trip us up.

I think chapters 15 and 16 are the best of volume 1. I like your reaction when you discovered that Blake's a faunus. Penny and the guy with the tail are both from different schools (and kingdoms). They are in Vale for the upcoming tournament. Be sure to watch for Penny's backpack.

This is one of the few episodes I HAVE to watch with every reactor since it introduces best girl Penny.

This is what I love about non-otaku reactors. Just like many of us when we first started watching this show, there were few who actually recognized the ears from the beginning thanks to the neko anime trope. I'm glad that you put the pieces together so quickly without this generic "I called it" moment.
