Well she clearly didn't use any abilities besides raw strength to stop the car where-as anybody else would have to use dust enhanced abilities or semblances ect. Seems like it would be considered weird to me. At least that's how i've always perceived it as being intended.

That's something quite strange about the show; lots of people publicly do super human things, yet aura and semblances seem to still some how be a well kept secret from most of the population, even Juan had no idea about them. Another thing is, it's implied that aura/semblances may only be visble to those that have awakened them, so normal people probably can't even see anything that isn't solid.

Funny thing about Penny, is that she's based of Pinocchio. Whenever she lies, she hiccups. And her last name is Polendina, which is a kind of Maize that Gepetto's hair colour resembled. That and the whole 'not a real girl' thing. plus the fact that her swords are controlled using thin, barely visible marionette strings.

Excellent reactions as usual kiddo. Also I agree with everyone asking you to watch RWBY Chibi but the first season of chibi came out between volumes 3 and 4. I suggest you wait until after volume 3. If you feel you must go on to volume 4 as soon as you can then may I suggest watching an episode of chibi after each chapter in 4 and even immediatly after the volume 3 finale.

There's not much to be spoiled, but there is one gag in particular in Chibi that could very easily spoil the finale to Volume 3. I would highly recommend waiting until after Volume 3 to watch any of it just to be safe.

7:50 "She seems so sad on the inside" Well, the White Trailer song Mirror Mirror was all about her being sad & lonely inside despite the IceQueen facade she wears for others to see.

The alternate outfits that the team wear throughout this arc each have names. Ruby's = Slayer Blake's = Intruder Yang's = Hunter Weiss' = ...SnowPea PS, in case you didn't notice it the crates that Ruby knocked over to block the way were all labelled 'Breakable Things'.

Jaune's so freaking cute I'd love to be in Weiss's shoes and instead of rejecting him go out to get a bite to eat and all that stuff he wanted to do 😭😭😭😭😭 (having said that Weiss doesn't /have/ to like him back, she has a right to decline his offers to hang out if she wants. I don't like when pple hold that against her, cuz Jaune's not entitled to anything from her)

Penny's full name is Penny Polendina, and the character she is based off of is Pinocchio. The name "Polendina" is something Geppetto's neighbors called him in the original fairy tale. Also, she hiccups when she lies, which is a reference to Pinocchio's nose. The more you know!

And yeah if you are planning to watch RWBY Chibi as well, DO NOT watch it until after Volume 3, then Volume 4, then RWBY Chibi season 2.

Her being based on Pinocchio is also funny considering she doesn't have any long interactions with the only other characters based on a character from that series (Torchwick is based on Lampwick).

Interesting fact, when Mounty, Miles, and Kerry (the writters) were planning out team RWBY, they decided to have two pairs of polar opposites, one where their opposites "Clash horribly" (as they put it) while the other compliment each other. I'm guessing you can already guess which partnerships are which.

To be fair everyone thought her swords were coming out of her back. But it was confirmed later by writers Miles and Kerry that it was a backpack she was wearing. But yeah, we all thought that XD

A common theory for how Penny is, by certain definitions, alive, is that the aura her body maintains isn't actually artificial, as that woulds seem very internally inconsistent, seeing as aura/life-force and souls are supposed to be all tied together, the idea being that it was actually donated/taken from a normal human; that might be a reason why she is such a big secret as, given the way Ironwood'and Atlas act, if they could make armies of elite artificial hunters, they would, not just one to fulfil the specific purpose they have for Penny, but if a human has to be sacrificed each time then it's a much bigger taboo.

Penny WAS wearing a backpack in vol1, it was just not colored obvious enough. I would guess that more than half the viewers didnt see the backpack in vol1
