His name is Solider 76 or as he was known before, Strike Commander Jack Morrison. He was the leader of Overwatch, but after a betrayal from Reaper people thought Jack died instead he became the vigilante known as Soldier 76.

I just love your reactions... Some info if you want: -he's soldier76, a wanted vigilante. We all know now that he is Jack Morrison, former Overwatch commander -the bad guys are a gang known as Los Muertos -there is the Horizon Moon Colony on the moon, where Winston grew up, there's only angry monkeys up there... literally -I personally think this trailer is set some years before Recall -from an in-game quote we know Soldier76 didn't really join Winston & co. on the recall train, he's solving things with another character's help (Ana, former Overwatch second in command). Hey, I know you love lore and world building, so perhaps you can watch the overwatch character introduction videos and then discuss them. The shorts are beautiful but are sometimes more events that give insight into the characters but are short on exposition

Molllyyy Since he's Japanese the pronunciation of his name is different compared to how words and letters are pronounced in English. For me it was easier because my native language, Latvian, has very similar letter pronunciations to Japanese.

I'm pretty sure by lore he is not her father. He has no relationship with anyone at this current moment. Alejandra's father is most likely yet to be revealed. (Hopefully I spelled her name right XD)

Awesome reaction (don't wanna sound weird but you react so cute haha)! Regarding the hover cars: The team that created Overwatch originally had an other MMO project going on, named "Titan". We don't know much about it but it was cancelled as they just couldn't the game to be finished and fun. Then they started working on Overwatch and some things and ideas from the old project got used in the new one (Overwatch). I think Tracer is one of the characters that just got re-used so to say. And interesstingly enough the team wanted but wasn't allowed to make flying vehicles in "Titan", that's why almost every vehicle in overwatch is a hovering one (as some kind of outlet for their former restrictions of creativity) :D

5:04 and funnily enough the overwatch community always makes fun of Soldier 76 to being an "dad". :D and even the developers embrace this joke and make skins and voice lines of him with dad puns.. ^^ But it's not because of this scene afaik, I think it's just because of his over all dad-esque character. :)

Lol I just finished a match on this map. Love the little Easter eggs in the game. Played as Sombra, a Hispanic hacker whose hometown is Dorado, the name of the town. One of her line's before the game begins is "Ah, back home. I should stop by the bakery." The bakery is the building Alejandra came and went from in the beginning and the end of the video. Its there on the map too. Pretty cool.

not sure if anyone has gone over this yet, someone probably has but i'm going to anyway. Jack Morrison was an original member of overwatch he was one of the founders. He was also the overwatch commander for years during the omnic crisis. After the crisis ended however public opinion of overwatch began to drop and people began asking for it to be shut down. There was a large uprising at an overwatch base lead by another member of overwatch and this person and jack began to fight eachother. Neither Jack nor the person he was fighting managed to get out of the base before it exploded and both of them were presumed to be dead, an empty grave was even made for him. This event was the final nail in overwatches coffin and it was dissolved. Jack however managed to survive and with the world thinking him dead became a vigilante out for vengeance against the organization that brought the fall of overwatch, he took on the moniker of soldier 76

He was the overwatch commander and he and reaper ( the smoke guy called Gabriel Reyes ) were friends but after the war they got mad and overwatch ended , Jack Morrison ( Soldier 76 ) became a mercenary (kinda) and Gabriel Reyes was almost killed and duo to 2 doctors he lived as The Reaper, his body regenerates his cells and he is immortal from aging and he can regen very fast from attacks they are enemies now.

The poster shown on the wall that said Los Protectorers(i'm not Hispanic)had a picture of Jack,wearing a blue Jacket and staring towards the distance

That's Soldier 76. Aka Jack Morrison. He's the former leader of Overwatch. The blonde guy on every poster. His story, and the story of Gabriel Reyes (Reaper) are tied together. Gabriel was part of Blackwatch. Overwatch's covert ops division. Mcree and Genji were both part of the same division. Even before that, Gabriel and Jack were part of the same "solider enhancement program". Gabriel turned. He was jealous of being passed over for leadership of Overwatch. Possibly. We don't know his full reasoning. There was an explosion. Both survived, but Reyes got stuck in a form where his cells were degrading and regenerating incredibly quickly.

To pretty much clarify, Soldier 76 is the main blond dude in the poster. When the overwatch team was still a team, Reaper and Soldier 76 were the two leaders and eventually Reaper became a traitor and when Overwatch disbanded, Soldier is more like a vigilante.

Jack Morrison (soldier 76) was the leader of overwatch when the Swiss hq was destroyed and overwatch was disbanded. the world thinks he is dead but he is not. The object on the moon was the Lunar space colony where Winstion (the gorrilla/scientists) was raised by Dr. Harold Winston. after the event of the genetically modified gorrilas revolted and liberated the colony of the scientist and Winstion (gorilla).it is unclear what happened to Harold Winston but he isn't dead.

I am thinking the mother and daughter aren't directly linked to Overwatch. Oh, some speculated that Alejandra is a character that we meet later, but it's been confirmed that thus occurs only a short time before 'Infiltration', so Ale ain't her. As for him following her home, I am thinking his base protective personality lead him to want to make sure she got home alright, no matter who she was. And the blonde man on the old poster, that was him in his prime.

Every short(well, minus one) happens on one of gthe Overwatch game maps, you can literally be in every location of this short in game, even at steps of lil gir's home!

I'm pretty sure that Jack is too old to be Alejandra's father. If there is any relation, it has to be grandfather, because Alejandra appears to be (and is implied to be) somewhere in her teens while Jack appears to be in his sixties or seventies. Also, Jack lived in America for most of his life while this short takes place in Spain.
