that tends to happen when you care about something beyond getting views. she's the most 'into' this series I've seen a reactor get in a long time. that heart will carry you far in the reacting world. (also: Cider)

Test Songs Shouldn't mention that cause spoilers. The Brennan No, he continues to bring it up thus showing how while it may not be the sole reason it is a big reason for him crushing on Blake. Yang on the other hand has shown no care or interest in Blake being a faunus and actually defended faunus overall when Weiss was going off on them, which both go towards this point and is a clear difference where Yang is perfectly fits Blake.

CrimsonXE He brought it up once. ONCE. And it was to say, to his best friend, "I finally found somebody who will never judge me for what I am. EVER! How great is that?!" If your logic is correct, he should also be falling for velvet. He is hardly falling for an ideal Blake. He knows she was a terrorist at one point in her life. You have to care about somebody to get over that. He has repeatedly put his life on the line for her. While Yang was busy being angry at her for leaving, Sun was worried about her. He stayed in the shadows, ready to save her again at a moment's notice. He left his friends so he could protect a girl with a history of terrible decisions.

The Brennan Um no its not "just once", though I can't go further than that cause of spoilers. You're giving him way too much depth since he has never once even hinted at being "judged" by anyone nor feeling persecuted; instead he's possibly the most naive and never known hardship ever characters in the show. You seem to be confusing Sun and Blake, as Blake is the one that wants someone that won't judge her or see her as what she is (which again Sun doesn't do cause he brings up specifically her being a faunus instead of her just being her). Just to point it out, Yang is the one that actually doesn't judge Blake after her revealing she was in the WF and basically says for Weiss to not jump to conclusions and give her a chance to tell her story; Yang is the one not judging or persecuting. Also if you really to go into it, Sun judges the WF and even Blake when she mentions being a member of the WF; and this doesn't go away either. So this idea that Sun is some persecuted byronic deep character, falls on its face as he's the one judging others and even dismissing the faunus wanting to be treated as equals. I wouldn't be shocked if he did, but right now he's too busy with his crush. Um no, again I can't fully dive into this cause of spoilers but he has an image of Blake in his head that is different than the actual one. And no he actually hasn't "put his life on the line" for her instead leaving her to fight the mech on her own, not showing an ounce of care towards her at one point (any more than this is spoiler), and another event is him not protecting Blake but running off his mouth. Also I think the word you're looking for is "stalking", not whatever romanticized idea you seem to be trying to paint. Oh and Yang was depressed and hurt, not angry; you know like someone with actual deep connections to someone. Yang has also shown respect for Blake in presenting her logic and reason to make a choice, while Sun takes away choices and shows no respect. Yang as I mentioned has also defended the faunus and seen them as individuals instead of by what they are; which even goes into her with Blake where its a non-factor. There's more that I could go into but its spoilers heavy, so I'm not going to go into it.

Test Songs The idealized image isn't per se even the faunus aspect, its the image of this hardcore badass vigilante that fights for justice and never has a moment of needing to just rest and gather her emotions. When she doesn't fall into that, he tries to push her to be it and even gets aggravated when she doesn't. And yep, that's the core theme I see in B&B. To fall for *who* a person is inside, not *what* they appear to be on the outside. And in 2 areas this would apply to BB: 1) sexuality: in that they'd be falling in love regardless of their genders because they care about the person not their gender (which actually takes them into pansexuality) and 2) species/race: Yang not caring about Blake being a faunus but being pulled to her via who she is as a person (this actually also potentially goes a step further in regards to Blake to Yang but that's spoiler territory).

What I love about this episode is when Blake says "They're out there, somewhere" she points towards the corridor, exactly where Ruby literally runs into them just 30 seconds later.

Nice pick up with Ozpin and Ironwood - a lot of folks just chat over the exchange. It is rewarding to listen carefully to the conversations between the "adult" characters. Oh, and an important clarification there - both Ozpin and the general are obviously concerned about... something. However, Ozpin believes that they should be more cautious and circumspect in their actions whereas Ironwood has been sufficiently spooked to travel all the way to Vale from Atlas with an overt display of force. You are very detail oriented; keep paying attention and you will be rewarded.

Sometimes I consider if Big Jim Ironwood travels to visit Ozpin just to score some free coffe to mix with his whiskey. I figure his own kingdom might have laws against Drinking On Duty, but this is a different kingdom with different laws... Like going to Amsterdam for 'stuff'

I have to say these reactions really brighten my day, you're so expressive and excited, it really brings me back to when I first saw the show. Plus it's always nice to hear people's speculation knowing what's ahead, thinking about the things you notice vs what I or others didn't and vice versa. Keep it up, you've rapidly become a favourite

When you go thru the World of Remnant videos, don't miss Aura. It wasn't released the same way as the rest of them this volume, but it does a much better job of describing aura and semblance than what they were able to shoehorn into the show.

You're noticing details I didn't catch during my first watch so kudos to that! Like I said once before, you're so geedarn perceptive! Looking forward to more reactions and hope you have a good day!

Nora is just amazing. Also, Bumblebee. Bad lady's name is Cinder, as in fire. Xray and Vav is an animated show by Rooster Teeth. There are actually a ton of references to their various stuff in RWBY, mostly Red vs Blue. I can't wait for you to get to the end of this volume. The last episode has one of my top 3 scenes in the show.

Glad I was meandering about instead of leaving my place earlier like I intended. Got to watch another reaction by Molly 'olly 'olly! An upload at this time makes me reminiscent of Saturday morning cartoons.

Great reaction Molllyyy. I laughed when you said "Cider" referring to the bad guys leader, it's "Cinder" just in case you didn't know :) Also there is another Rooster Teeth animation called X-Ray and Vav, you should check it out. All of RWBY has little cameos of other Rooster Teeth stuff. For example, the poster above Yang's bed is a real poster for Achievement Hunter, another part of Rooster Teeth that focuses more on video game content and 2 of the members are the people who X-Ray and Vav are taken from. I always look forward to your reactions, keep it Molllyyy :)

I'm always impressed by the number of things you catch on the first viewing, but the black-haired villain's name is Cinder, not Cider. Also "I thought it was going to be someone new to ship with Ruby", yeah, that's a ship too, called Falling Petals. (really, sometimes this fanbase just lets their imagination go crazy, why is there a ship name for this?)

hey, don't know if anyone told you yet, but the board game is basically a remnant version of stratego as far as I'm aware. also, this might be my favorite RWBY reaction of yours so far, I love how shocked you were and how expressive your face was during all of it, especially during the breakdown at the end. Now with lady stardust gone you may just take her place as my favorite RWBY reactor, keep it up!

Yay more RWBY! Still loving the videos. Was going to suggest a fan-mad RWBY AMV but unfortunately it has spoilers for volume 3 so it will have to wait.

Loving ur reactions Molly, especially how u have been picking up an the little things like the relationship between Ruby and Weiss. Your reactions to the surprises and twists have also been priceless. Keep up the great reactions.

Pay close attention to what the girls say about the kingdom they are playing as in the card/board game. Blake was playing as Vale which is where we have been all along so you kinda get what they are like. Ruby was playing as Atlas, the kingdom that General Ironwood is from. Weiss was playing as Vacuo, and Yang was playing as Mistral. The things they did and some of the cards they talked about are actually bits and pieces of what the four kingdoms of Remnant are like! Another great reaction and I am awaiting with great anticipation your volume 1 soundtrack reaction!

Yes there is Easter eggs all over the place in RWBY. Some are noticeable like the comic, while some are in background for the more eagle eyed. X-ray & Vav is another show that RoosterTeeth does. Also the poster with the boys hanging on the wall in their dorm, is an egg for Achievement Hunters. Probably already commented before in the chapter 1 reaction. The bookstore owner being a cat....."You mean like a Puma" is from Red vs. Blue.

Seems there isn't much anything to comment about since I think you got almost all the key points in this chapter covered...except for the Cider x Cinder thing but the rest is just epic reaction and I can't wait for your next RWBY chapter. I'm also glad you got the WoR in order. Can't wait to hear your opinion from that.

"I just wanna be their friends". I know :/ that's what I was thinking throughout RWBY too. Their all just so cool, funny, cute an interesting people. I'd love to be friends with them all. " A great board game, is not it? It would be great if Rooster Teeth released a full version of it!) In the end, we see how the antagonists, continuing their grandiose (we do not joke) plan, enter the Beacon under the guise of foreign students. From this moment we ask you to be even more attentive, for their plan consists of the smallest details that need to be noticed. We love you! Your Russian fans! :-)

Had the same reaction when I saw cinder n her group in those uniforms :0 also Rooster Teeth did mention they were making that game into a real game :)

If you have not figured it out yet Penny was based on Pinocchio and every now and then when she fights you get a glimpse of the wires she uses to control her swords . Also when she hiccups is after she tells a lie (it's her tell like Pinocchio's nose growing) .

Just found your channel. Love your enthusiasm. I would advise trying to avoid the comment section by the end of the volume to avoid HEAVY spoilers. I would love to see your honest reactions since they appear so genuine. I've seen multiple reactors spoiled on the two biggest things that are in the next volume and their reactions were so tainted it took away from the moments. This series gets so serious with such heavy plot twists like I said try to stay away as much as possible

Yup the relationship between Weiss and Ruby gets more friendly, although I think the bumblebee dynamic is more *interesting* ;)

X-Ray and Vav is a reference to another "Super Hero" show made by Roosterteeth, which I recommend you watch, it has like a Powder Puff feel to the show and having grown up with that show I instantly loved it. Also you won't be able to guess what team CRME (Crime)(Cinder, Roman, Mercury, Emerald), does in this volume and volume 3... it will literally cause tears... ;-;

"I was worried that this would be another person who people would ship with Ruby, but no, it's worse!" Well, I wouldn't go that far. Also, they didn't make the board game. They spent half a day coming up with rules, and then were like "we should probably do some actual work on the show now."

I am impressed at your keen eye for detail. Astute attention paid between Ozpin and Ironwood, recalling Qrow's name, and the shock at the arrival of Cinder and the two. Your reactions will go quite far for RWBY, and many other potential future series. Awesome! I mean, Weiss and Ruby are partners, so it's only natural that they stick together in a fight and care when the other goes down. They have a very nice friendship. Seriously though, board games now are more awesome than they used to be. RWBY also has a card game, called Battle Ready. 4:08 _X-Ray and Vav_ , an earlier cancelled RT cartoon starring Ray Narvaes Jr. and Gavin Free as the titular characters. It also has Mad King Ryan and Michael Jones as Mogar, practically making it AH the Animation. Volume 2 has lots of good humour. Someone's probably already mentioned how Ozpin and his inner circle are based on characters from _Wizard of Oz_ . Ozpin is, of course, Oz, and Glynda is Glenda. Ironwood is the Tin Woodsman, and Qrow is... the Scarecrow. Oh, Dorothy? We don't know. Or Toto for that matter. Well, maybe. Maybe not. We'll see. 12:03 Ruby has no reason to be suspicious of Cinder because Cinder uses heat to blur her face so no one can identify her when she's doing one of her Nefarious Evil Schemes. Ruby usually doesn't worry about Yang because of Yang's Semblance. A pillar was about to fall on Weiss before.

The comic book was "X-Ray and Vav", another RT series that ran at the time. Yes, its an easter egg. I like the show; to bad it is no longer being produced.

Well most people single out Weiss and call her Ice Queen. Back in this era I really liked White Rose and Bumblebee. This show is so deep though it makes you wonder if you will see those things evolve to become reality in the show. I'm really looking forward to the next two videos.

This is extremely promising. =D

The reason that they stick so close to each other is cause they're partners. Ruby is Weiss's partner and considers her a BFF. Yang is Blake's partner, but yet Yang treats Blake like MORE than a partner. The infiltration will last all of Season 2 and majority of Season 3.

Oh boy I cannot wait for your volume 3 reactions. Just as a warning, turn OFF the comments leading up to the start of Volume 3! Don't want anyone spoiling anything!

Nathan Wise Yeah there is all sorts of dumb shit. Like Zwei X anything, Port X Yang, Ozpin X Ironwood, and worst of all... Bumblebee, white rose, and enabler. All three of which are equally bad.

I have watched this episode at least 30 times and I just realized, why does Ruby not ask Sun and Neptune about Emerald and Cinder? They are all from Haven, so they must know each other somewhat and can vouch for each other.

If only the card game was real. I'd buy it in an instant
