A lot of people don't seem to like these few episodes that revolve around Jaune, I personally like them. They actually gave us info on Jaune, which really helped to make me care about him. Cause before I just saw him as someone who really shouldn't be there, who got in the way, and couldn't fight. I love Jaune now and it's these few episodes that made start to care about him. Also, quick random thing, I love the face you made when Cardin first showed up on the roof, it was amazing. XD

It's Cardin Winchester as in the Cardinal of Winchester, the man who killed Joan of Arc, Jaune's inspiration Team JNPR are gender swapped version of the Heroes of Tragedy, Joan of arc, Thor, Achilles and Mulan

almost correct. JNPR members are not necessarily based on heroes of tragedy, but on those who cross-dressed at some point: mulan dressed up like a man in the chinese army, joan of arc dressed up like a man in the french army, Thor disguised himself as Freyja once and achilles disguised himself as a girl named pyrrha once to avoid having to fight in a trojan war.

Only RWBY is based mainly off fairy tales, and so is an assortment of other characters, there is a notable amount of characters from the fictional land of OZ and other children's books, there are mythological gods/demigods (Thor is one), Legendary characters and I dare say the rest in JNPR is exactly that, and several others. It is not "Almost all other teams", far from it. HOWEVER, it seems you just wanted to say that the characters isn't just based on fairy tales ... and you are correct about that. ^_^

This arc means a lot to me. Growing up, I was bullied a lot and I relate with Jaune a lot. I love this series so much and happy late birthday to Monty...if you want to see something cool that he created, maybe check out the Dead Fantasy!

I love the scene where they are eating in the cafeteria! I feel like you learn a lot about each character by what they are doing/eating. Yang is just enthralled in Nora's story, Jaune is eating chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes like a kid, Weiss is zoned out and doing her nails, Blake is reading a book by herself but is still trying to be a part of the group. I just love RWBY so much. It's so awesome!

+Renee Salinas Right? There are so many small details, it's extraordinarily difficult to see them all in the first or even second viewings. I have an idea/hypothesis about the use of cookies (other than the ease of animating them), but I cannot say it here yet, until Molly gets through a certain point of the show.

SublimelyGreen lol, I didn't even notice that Yang was holding a bunch of stuff that wasn't even hers in Ch. 9 until ZehOverseer played that seen over and over for his abridged series(ep.6). Hmm, a theory about the cookies? 🤔I'm intrigued. We'll have to get back to that.

Monty will be missed but he has left behind many accomplishments that will continue to affect many many people for a very long time. may his legacy never fade. now that I'm prepared to cry I'd like to say, lovely video you're doing great ^^ you have 110% of my support like forever :)

Fire the Orbital Friendship Laser! It seems Cardin was created just to antagonize Jaune.

Professor Ooblek is a pretty funny and whimsical character, but he's so scary when he's serious. Especially when it comes to the performance of his students.

Just so u know, the bunny-ear girl's name is Velevet Scarlatina and she's a Faunnus(The half man half animal dominant race of Remnant) and in volume 3 you will love her and her weapon

Fun fact bunny girl(Velvet) was only made to be a one off character but people loved her so much that they made a contest for fans to make her battle gear and she showed up later. It's funny originally she was supposed to have a elephant trunk which I think would have changed how much people liked her.

Velvet Scarlatina is Best Bunnygirl. Tragically, she only existed at this point to be picked on. Thankfully this changes. Meet Doctor Oobleck, voiced by Joel Hayman, who also voices Caboose in _RvB_ . I have a lot more respect for Oobleck than I do for Caboose. Not a lot of reactors notice Cardin in the window.

for as long as I've been watching RWBY it IS very hard to just pick one favorite. As a note of historical context: Cardin Winchester is a reference to THE Cardinal of Winchester, a Catholic church official in England. One man who held that office, Henry Beaufort, was present for (though not technically in charge of) the mock trial and execution of Joan of Arc. It's also the reason his team was given the black bishop chess pieces in the Emerald Forest.

Dead Fantasy is another one of Monty's great works. I just saw them on MurderOfBirds stream and they were awesome :D. It's worth checking out as well. Also Dr. Oobleck is probably one of my favorite professors' there.

Of course you like Nora and Pyrrha, everybody loves the redheads! I think it's good to take stock of what drives characters, thus I liked noticing that Jaune said he always wanted to be a hero. Much like what Ruby said to Blake before the Emerald Forest initiation. Anyway; great work, cute choker, hope you keep enjoying the series.

So back to fill you in on our three new focus characters! Cardin (Bully) is based on thr Cardinal of Winchester. Oobleck (Teacher) is based on Dr. Seuss' Bartholomew. Velvet (Bunnygirl) is based on the Velveteen rabbit.

some people suggest that Nora was a member from the mob just cause she said we'll break his legs but that Theory and also the professor with the green hair is Professor Bartholomew oobleck

Just so you know, in the opening song there are some statues that Jaune is looking at. Those are actually Jaune's hero ancestors

Also with Monty Oum, he voiced Ren in Volumes 1 and 2. In Volumes 3 and 4 it's his brother. You can hardly tell the difference. I would say watch the tribute video that RT made for Monty as well.

Okay so aura is basically the shows reason to have characters do things that wouldn't be possible in our world. Like when rwby was able to survive falling from the sky after letting go of the Nevermore(giant bird) if her aura was depleted she would have died.....but don't worry they explain aura as the series goes on.

so last time I commented I said that the volumes end at ep 12(which all but vol 1 does) volume 1 has 16eps (edit)I also said something about the after credits thing at the end of the volumes that still stands

yes these are one of them times were we need noras hammer to try to get through jaunes thick titanium skill he for being that thick headed... but he is a guy that feels he can't be any good and feeling low moral not being at the others level... so untill he feels like he can stand up i don't think he will move on much more... only time will tell i guess

I was correct. You had the exact same reactions I and most everyone else had when seeing Cardin in action for the first time. Wanting to break his legs. With your sweet manner it just seems different some how, most of the rest of us tried to dive thru the screen to break them. I SO want to explain a little bit here and there but at the same time do not want to spoil anything for you. A non spoiler that some picked up on and some like me had to be told are that all the characters are based on others not just the main 4. If you don't already know AND would like to know, just ask and I or probably 300 others will be glad to fill you in since none of this information is revealed in the series proper.

You'll see more of Oobleck in future volumes. Very entertaining.
