Alright this is too weird, I suffer from insomnia and every so often I awake in the late of night and usually I do my best to sleep more, but I give in to being awake. I flip on KZread and boom and I am within a hour of a new video of Molllyyy being posted. Thx. It is nice being with others when you think no else is around. And if you are curious it's 2 A.M in Alaskan time.

I absolutely adore watching you fall in love with this show! These reactions are so much fun. Also, just for your information, Aura, as Pyrrha explained it a few episodes ago, is an outward projection of one's soul, and typically used as a sort of force field to protect them from injury. What we just saw Pyrrha do, when she moved Jaune's shield into place, was her Semblance, which is a unique ability that each person has. Like she said, Ruby has her 'speed' and Weiss has her glyphs, while Pyrrha's is polarity. So keep an eye out for characters doing cool moves that no one else can do! Hope this helps!

Molllyyy in addition on that once you get to Vol2 should look up the World Of Remint vids for they are very informational and explain things in much more detail but only for Volume 2 for the other WOR videos for there own series will have spoilers

All the monsters are called Grimm, and there are all different types: Wolves = Beowolves Bears = Ursa Scorpion = Deathstalker Giant Bird = Nevermore [Edit] Boar = Boarbatusk (Thanks for the reminder Fonvegen) [Edit 2] Snake = King Taijitu (Thanks Franz Schubert) Hope this helps!

Great reaction today! Digging this hairstyle. The Grimm come in several varieties: Beowolves are the wolfish ones (standard Grimm) Ursai are the bears (also fairly standard) Deathstalkers are the scorpions (like the one JNPR killed in chapter 8) Nevermores are the birds (like the one Ruby decapitated) King Taijitu are the two-headed snakes (like the one Ren killed while demonstrating aura) Borbatusks are the boars (like the one Weiss killed in class) There are a couple more common varieties that come up later, but I won't mention them here unless you want me to.

Molllyyy Grimm that are older are called Alphas. This Ursa was an Alpha, thats why it was spikier and bigger than the Ursine in former episodes.

In honesty I was confused about King Taijitu. When they first started talking about "two headed snake", I thought of a split head (two heads, same neck) I kept on re-watching over and over, not finding what I was looking for. I was starting to think that someone wrote that in script and no one animated it. Then it hit me as I'm watching Conan: The Barbarian...Heavy face palm that day; two heads, same body, one side is black and the other is white. I always thought the one that Ren fought was two and he came across an albino grim.

The popular theory is that Ozpin knew Jaune's transcripts were fake but let him into the school anyway. And you gotta admit it's pretty impressive for him to take on an Ursa Major all alone when his weapon is just a sword, not a fancy gun with multiple forms like everyone else! :D

The unpopular theory is that we've seen no actual proof of Oz knowing Criminal Jonny is there illegally. An alternative to saying a fool is Brave to continue ignoring Glyndas combat instructions to switch to a more defensive tactic when low on aura... is to admit he is Stupid. Glynda taught him how to not get killed, and then he didnt do that and was going to get killed. Jonny is a self serving parasite. He steals what he wants but cant have. He repeatedly has others save him from his own ineptitude and mistakes. He WONT LEARN to be a better person, because his mistakes, failings, and crimes are taken care of for him by ENABLERS around him. What 'lesson' did Jonny learn about crime? CRIME IS GREAT, You get a way with it and others cover it up for you. Pyrrha was an UNTARNISHED paragon of virtue, until Criminal Jonny got her involved in Abetting & Harboring his crimes. So much for her Virtue and Righteousness now that Jonny got her to be a criminal to help him. Well, at least thats one way to look at it. Or you can take the popular path and just say I DONT CARE ABOUT ALL THAT, I LIKE JONNY ANYWAYS

Oh boy, you're quite fun aren't you :P For future reference, I expressed a theory, not whether I believed it or not. I commented on the difficulty of a situation, not on whether I like Jaune or not. But this is clearly a copy-paste statement from someone who either doesn't actually care, or has never experienced the acknowledgement of one's shortcomings and trying to improve upon yourself. If you're here to pick a fight, at least present it in a clear, concise manner with well considered and objective points. Also, take the time to learn some grammatical rules and the spelling of featured character names. I'm quite puzzled by the fact that you can spell 'Pyrrha' but not 'Jaune'. Thank you for your time :)

Lot of people suspect that Ozpin knows the situation with Jaune from the beginning.

The way Ruby says "nope" is soooo cute! To answer your question about the bear thing not being a Beowolf, no it isn't. Think of Grimm like Pokemon. Grimm is the general term for all of the creatures, and there are different species, like with Pokemon. The ones that have been shown so far are as follows: -Beowolf (the wolf) -Ursa (the bear) -Nevermore (the bird) -Deathstalker (the scorpion) -King Taijitu (the snake) -Boarbatusk (the boar/pig)

2am I just gone done watching this. Great reaction video! Just think, two more Chapters and you'll be onto Volume 2! That grim you were talking is an Ursa, which is latin for bear as seen in the other comments :). Yang was fighting those when she met up with Blake earlier. It's kind of a spinoff on Goldilocks and The Three Bears.

Oh Mollly Trivia Fact, Jaune is based off Joan of Arc and Cardin Winchester is based on the Cardinal of Winchester. The Cardinal of Winchester presided over Joan of Arc's trial before being burnt at the stake.

Oh beeteedubs (btw XD) the voice actress for Ruby had a baby recently Oh and there's different kinds of Grimm. There's the Beowulfs, Ursa (bears), nevermore (birds), nightstalkers (scorpions), and idk what the snakes are called but on top of that there are like a million other kinds in the other volumes

Every time Ruby says "nope", The cuteness meter is reset.

Bear like creatures are ursa, and this ursa had big spikes on its back so it was some kind of elite ursa , atleast stronger then regular ones. Ursa is the name of the starsigns which represent the bears so. That's a thing. Alot of names have origin from something that we know like fairy tails, colors or in this case starsigns. Beowolves are those basic wolf like creatures i believe.

Ursa means bear, there are different type of Grimm animal and otherwise. Beowolves are just one type.

When someone leads a team, you can tell a lot about his character by the way they behave. Cardin's team shat themselves and ran off, leaving him to die, at the first sign of trouble. Pretty much tells you everything about him up front, no?

I love how Cardin's teammates leave him at the drop of a hat. Guess he doesn't inspire leadership. :-D

Beowolves are the wolflike Grimm (named after the hero Beowulf from an Old English epic poem). The Bearlike Grimm are Ursa/Ursai (Latin for bear). Both are pretty common types of Grimm and each have a larger, spikier and more deadly variety. These are Alpha Beowolves, as in the Alpha male of a wolf pack and Ursa Major, named after the constellation, which means Great Bear. Interestingly the name Beowulf is believed to mean Bear. The Beo refers to Bees and Wulf does indeed mean Wolf but put together they mean Bee-Hunter which in turn refers to Bears.

Pyrrha adjusted the placement of his shield in order to block the incoming swipe. Otherwise Jaune might not have won.

It's 3:30 am and I have to watch. It's like I'm watching it all over again.

that my friend was an ursa There a different kinds of grims in their world you'll learn more about them as the series goes on Is almost 3:30 in the morning and I almost woke up the whole house because I was laughing along with you and your reaction xD oh in the last episode of each volume make sure you watch the after credit scene

this may have already been discussed in prior videos and I was just too dumb to notice it, but are you planning on checking out the 'world of remnant' videos? they help clarify some setting details that may not be immediately apparent in the show without spoiling later developments. Things such as the nature of aura, and the grimm, and such along those lines.

I just love how wimpy the members of team CRDl are. I mean, even if RWBY's members are extremely skilled for first years ( taking out monsters singlehandedly), the four guys of team Cardin should have been able to take that thing. Even Jaune (though he wasn't skilled enough to beat it without Pyrra's help) swung his sword hard enough to decapitate the Ursa-with a one handed swing!

Things to react to: Kobayashi's dragon maid (My favorite) Dr. Horrible Sing along blog (Neil Patrick Harris) Overwatch Shorts Star vs. the forces of evil (so much fun) and if you ever run out of stuff, there are more than 100 episodes of "My little pony" waiting for you.

So, Jaune withstood this test. The result of this, as we have seen, was the improvement of relations with his team and with Pyrrha in particular. We were very happy to watch your reaction to all that was happening (you were beautiful as always!) and regret that we can not see RWBY in your company. However, let's not focus on the sad, because ahead of us waiting for a story that almost completely reveals both the character and the past of one of the characters. We love you! Your Russian fans :-)

Yay, more Molly. Also, hair tied back looks cute. Posy Watch Addon - Beowulf, Ursa, Nevermore, Deathstalker are all different Grimm. They look like Wolves, Bears, Giant Crows and Giant Scorpions respectively. Actually can't remember the name of the snake grimm, if we've ever been told it.

I have the feeling that humbling jerks and bullies is a much better way of dealing with them than just giving them an insult or punch them or whatever. That way, they might realize what they did was wrong and they still feel awful about it. I think that's why Jaune did what he did to Cardin at the end. Also, Beowulfs are like wolves, an Ursa is more like a bear. There are a lot of different Grimm, you can see several of them during the class with Professor Port in an earlier episode. The boars are Boarbatusks, the snakes are King Taijitus, the ravens are Nevermores and the scorpions are Death Stalkers. Edit: And now I noticed someone else already posted the information about the different Grimm. Oh well! XD

From what I can gather, Cardin has brute strength, which is what got him this far, but he's starting to fall behind his peers because he's lacking in skill and strategy, so he picks on those who seem weak to make himself feel strong. So, you know... a typical bully.

TIME FOR A LORE UPDATE: Every huntsman/huntress has an Aura manifested by their soul. This does a few things: 1) Gives a limited shield and heals minor wounds 2) Strengthens their body and weapons thus as they get stronger so too do their weapons. there is no gunpowder in this world thus every shot they fire is either a Dust round or a piece of their aura. 3) Grants them a Semblance. A Semblance is an ability unique onto the character and is usually a refection of their core characteristic. Since it is a refection of their soul. Every Semblance has a visual component that lets you the viewer know its been activated, and a physical component as its function. I.E. Ruby's Rose pedals/ Super Speed. Using a semblance, fighting, and taking damage all drain Aura and once it runs out any damage taken is for real....as in permanent/lethal.

you should do a reaction to the lyrics of the ost. not so much in the first volume but in the second and third there is a lot of story presented threw the music. also ive yet to see a reactor do this so it would be unique. you may have some licensing trouble, i don't know about these things, but you could always listen to it off-screen and pull out interesting quotes and discuss.

A Beowolf is specifically the Grimm that resembles a wolf. The bear thing that attacked Cardin is called an Ursa.

There are only 2 kinds of beowolf that we know of. The normal one and the Alpha which we see later. Everything else is another species of Grimm.

Creatures of Grimm, commonly just referred to as Grimm Boarbatusk: The boar Ursa: Bear Nevermore: Giant Raven Beowulf: Wolf Deathstalker: Scorpion
