Everything you were thinking and trying to say is exactly how all us Courtney Hadwin fans feel. She gets the blood burning hot and your inside want to just explode with all her energy. It's her passion and how she can emulate that passion into entertainment that makes people feel like she'll be a star. There are so many ways I like to explain what I see in her when we watch her and all are correct. She's just got it. That "IT FACTOR" that producers are always hoping to find. I hope Courtney has watched your reaction, because your explanation of what she is for music is dead on. To me she made this cover a funky/rock classic with a Courtney Hadwin twist. And as you said she is so different than anyone else. Everyone needs to hear what she's capable of. Everyone who sees her pretty much feels the same as you and all of us. She said today, the AGT side of her is still inside her even though she has been showing us all the different sides of what she can do. And the way she said it, it felt like she meant it and was full of confidence about it. Someone asked where the AGT Courtney is and she in 3 short words she said "It still here". I know you love Liliac and how Melody sings so differently from all others. Well Courtney will give us rock back too. She loves old classic rock songs and every once in a while she will do a classic cover at home and just go all out rock chic on us. But she's so diverse and just loves all music that resonates within her. So I think we can expect nothing but greatness from many different genres from her. And we are all pretty confident she will become an icon and bring her generation along with her. Many her age enjoy her style too. Please keep reacting to Courtney. When her albums drops we will see everyone get back on the Courtney train like they did when she was on AGT. It could be next week or it could be next year. It won't matter when, because someone with her all around talent will always capture the attention 10 fold whenever people hear and watch her perform. I loved how you went on about Courtney but just couldn't say enough and I'm personally I'm glad you didn't edit those parts out. Normally, I think I would ask for your next Courtney reaction to be from her channel that Edward mentions in his post. But since I know you're a rocker, I'm going to ask that you react to "Piece of my Heart" by Courtney with a band you may know. The Struts, who invited her to perform 2 songs with them on stage in the UK close to her home. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dqVqurBrmraXo6g.html And then if you want another rocker by Courtney this one is also just as good, maybe better because it was a studio recording. "Old Town Road" kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6Kr1sltc5O2hMY.html I'm feeling like I can't leave this rocker out so here's a 12 year old Courtney who will shock you of how someone so young can perform like a rock star at age 12. The judges are so impressed that they made her sing it again. It's a Tina Turner song "Nutbush City Limits" kzread.info/dash/bejne/k4mbzcdmhdzKiNI.html I do hope you react to all these and soon. We love Courtney. She's a star already in the hearts of all her fans. School is starting by me and still it feels like no one is confident to go back, yet. Be safe.

Courtney has said she aims to be Unique so that you will always know a Courtney Hadwin performance. The four Vevo covers were done specificly to show that Courtney was more versatial and not just what people saw on AGT. She isn't afraid to remake songs either, try and guess which Britney Spears song this is www.tiktok.com/@courtneyhadwin/video/6821894493206367493. You hit the nail on the head. Nobody has a voice like Courtney. She is unique in every way. Take my word for it, she completely obliterated the Jonas Bros original with this performance. She now owns this song. Also, because you haven't heard it, just letting you know the Jonas Bros version was a pop song and Courtney turned it into a Funk classic. Just a small sample of her creativity. You should go and listen to the original so you have more perspective as to just how good this really is. Most who know Courtney just from AGT think of her strictly as a rocker, but she is equally as good across multiple genres including R&B, Soul and Ballads as well as Funk and Rock. She has five covers on her channel, of which this is one. You have also reacted to one other, 'Someone You Loved' which is more of a gritty ballad. Again blew the original out of the water. Those videos, with one exception, were specifically selected by Courtney to highlight her vocal versatility. Despite being in multiple genres, they all have a better than 98% like to dislike ratio. I've put the links to the remaining three below. All are different but all are equally as spectacular as this one. While Courtney was finishing her album, she thought it would be fun to redo the most bubble gum pop boy band songs and Rock them out a bit. And that is what she did. You need to react to "Old Town Road" cover by Courtney. The guitarist and her turned it into a completely new song. A rock version you actually will love listening to. You should listen to the originals...and see how she took these soft pop songs and gave them grit and a new life. She was just showing everybody what she is capable of. Courtney Hadwin is my most favorite Rock artist in the world. Not to mention she has been learning to play the guitar and sing at the same time. Don't you worry. Courtney is going to bring Rock back to the young generation. And put soul and feeling back into music. It is going to be the one woman Rock n ROLL British invasion....

👍 It's really incredible how with two musicians she was able to make a great song out of garbage! We say "You can't weave a whip out of shit", but she did it! 🤘 She buried those embarrassing Jonas Bros originals 10 feet underground and made a great song out of their warmed up song! That's what they call talent! 👍

So, I started to listen to your commentary and thought to myself, hmmm pretty good comments. Then you paused a 2nd time and began to hit on comments that I thought were very insightful and spot-on and I started to think that these could be the best comments I've heard about Courtney from any reactor, all year . . . The cool, eccentric way she dresses, the music industry "needs" Courtney, one-of-a-kind voice, I'm going to remember her voice for the rest of my life no matter how successful she is, hope that she'll become "huge", not many with "voices that grasp" you, hope she becomes an icon because her voice is iconic, how she puts pain and emotion into her voice as if she's lived through these broken relationships, loves, etc. although she was only 14 when she cut these covers last year, etc. Did you reach into my brain and pull out most of my thoughts about Courtney? 😁 Bluesy is not a bad description of this style of song. I'd also add "funk". You would not recognize the original, which is very "popish". She took that "meh" song, added some funk and blues which, combined with that one-in-a-billion voice provides us with something that's worth listening to. Anyway, last year, at only age 14, she covered 4 songs and released them as her "Cover Sessions" album available on Apple Music, Spotify, etc. You've listened to 2 of those 4 songs, this "Sucker" and "Someone You Loved". One of the best examples on how much she changes covers and makes them her own, is "Old Town Road", the 3rd of 4 "Cover Sessions" songs, which was the 2019 Song of the Year (VMA, Billboard). It's a hip-hop + country music fusion song which she completely changed to a rock song. If you can listen to the original before you hear her version, you will be blown away with how creative she is (she stated in an interview it was her idea to change it the way she performed it)🔥🤘😎 - kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6Kr1sltc5O2hMY.html THANK YOU!!!

With her voice and delivery, I can see her doing well in the rock blues scene. I also hear echoes of DANII MINOGUE CROSSED WITH ALANIS MORISETTE. Brought up in the metal rock atmosphere. Starting way back with Presley and Buddy Holly, up to date with the latest Metallica. I find this out of sorts with personal taste. Having said that, with dedication this young lady can easily get to the top of her game. And now to intriduce you to an English band that are working hard, Sweet Crisis. They are not ied to a style of music, but cover most modern type. And also one Chantel McGregor, an artist well versed with blues played heavy, and excellent guitarist, song writer, singer, and live performer. She too is English, and a well kept secret. If you chose to check these out, I'm confident you'll enjoy them.

What you said about " with dedication this young lady can easily get to the top of her game." I can tell you that won't be a problem with Courtney. She is so dedicated and creative. Her vocal coach has said she needs to tell Courtney to not practice so much. She loves singing and exploring different possibilities for herself, that I doubt she has enough time in a day to do all she wants. And that is what it takes to be the best you can be. More importantly she has a group of professionals to back her every move up. Her record company she signed with, Arista Records has a history of allowing their signed artists to do it there way with guidance and not try to change who they are. The only thing to add is she is more than just a singer who does well in rock/blues. Take a look a her channel and see her different styles she uploaded to show those who thought the same thing from watching her on AGT. And then if she grabs your attention, her Instagram will show a bunch of home recordings of her doing all sorts of styles. Most of them will be cell phone recordings and won't have the sound quality, but if you use your imagination you can tell what those recordings would sound like in the studio.

You are being prophetic in saying you think she will be "huge" and "iconic" because that is the trajectory she is on. Millions of people worldwide are waiting impatiently for her to finish her album--delayed by COVID--because she will bring a different, fresher air to the music scene. Edward has already filled you in on Courtney, so I hope you will react to some of his links🌟🔥🌟🔥👏

There are a handful of female vocalists that I can think of that had iconic and unique voices. Courtney is on her way to making that list. The only female vocalist that I've listened to as a huge fan was Amy Lee, who is a completely different type of vocalist. Sadly, my playlist is dominated by males. Not because I prefer their vocals, but because I like their music. Primarily Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed (not much lately), Godsmack, etc. I started this channel because I'd listed to BB 90% of the time for the past 10 years. Their music matches my soul! But, I wanted to branch out and try new stuff. Anyway, sorry for the long comment. I'd love for her to make edgier rock, but I'd still listen to her if she did more poppy stuff.

@ Better Every Day - original song "Sucker" by Jonas Brothers as an industrially made tasteless instant soup from a bag from which all that is good has been removed, full of plastics and chemicals. Actually, she did get some outfits from Calvin Klein, and it was widely reported that she had a contract with him, but that is apparently not the case from what I have heard. Courtney has said many times that she picks out a lot of her outfits herself with no particular technique other than just seeing what she likes.

I read that same thing from her on Instagram. I also believe she said herself that Calvin Klein just let her wear the outfits from Pretty Little Thing on AGT Champions, and a a few other outfits, but as you said Rick, she didn't sign with them to model. But she did do some photo shoots with them around the time of AGT. She did post a few short clips about those photo shoots. Somehow that rumor of signing with Calvin Klein got started and circulated. Maybe it was a thought but never worked it's way out. Being under 16 might have had something to do with it due to UK labor laws. Who knows. Opp's, Courtney knows.

Well again not much left to say as Bert, Ed & Jamie pretty much covered it. The first 4 covers that Courtney did last year I would have never heard because I don't listen to the Jonas brothers & I had no idea who the other 3 artists were. So had Courtney not done these covers I still wouldn't know who they are. Agree you should listen to the original songs first then Courtney. IMO all 4 covers were way way better than the originals. Courtney can touch your soul with her voice. She has mine several times. She has a following that is unbelievable and she hasn't even dropped her first album yet. Thank you for the awesome reaction. I especially like your comment about how the music industry needs Courtney. She's given us belief that rock and roll is still alive. I wonder if the original artists are finding these covers online and seeing what we say about Courtney making them better than the originals. Be interesting to see how they react to that. I know Lewis Capaldi was approached by one of us who now mostly is lurking in the background and is probably going to read this. He said he had the opportunity to meat with Lewis prior to a concert he went to to see him. He said he was very down to earth and welcoming to talk with. Lewis was very impressed it seems with how good Courtney covered his song. Said his facial expression told the story and he said as much. That's about the highest praise anyone can get. I hope Rotohead1944 tells his story again here. Well worth reading again. I also hope he is doing well.
