I remember when Heidi on AGT said that she was unique because of her music selections. Most her age sing pop music. She is gritty and hard and she does it sooooo well. She has released four different of her own songs. She has covered Aerosmith at least twice, so it may be. Her biggest fan base is older men who are still in that genre. She is one of a kind and I hope we see much more. I do believe we will get an album in 2024.

2023 was the year she released four original videos and a Christmas audio. 2024 will be the year she releases her first album and returns to stage performances.

She has said that her first album IS complete, but needs to be refined before it is released. She has clearly said that, once the album is released, she wants to do performances THIS YEAR (2024).

Thank you for the reaction, HM! To answer a few of your questions / comments: 1.) Courtney has been working on an album and has recorded in Sweden twice and London once. She is aiming to have the album release early this coming year. Perhaps she drops a single, or two, from that album later this year? 2.) She is not touring yet. She has appeared live in a Struts concert (I believe you reacted to one of her songs from that concert) and just last month Bruce Springsteen's guitarist from the E Street Band, Stevie Van Zandt, brought Courtney up to sing at his concert. She also was contracted to appear in Woodstock's 50th anniversary concert last month until the festival fell apart - I assume she'll begin to tour once her album is released. 3.) Regarding your comment whether she sounds like Aerosmith lead singer, Steven Tyler, I think Courtney's voice has a little bit of a lot of rock n roll greats, including Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, James Brown, Etta James, etc. all blended with Courtney's exceptional voice, heart and personality to create a unique instrument of which many of us are in awe. So, I would assume that different listeners will hear shades of different greats in her voice.

If she could get on the same venue as Sam Fender, that would be awesome, I know she went up on Zandt's show with him there, He is phenomenal also, and as he is a northern boy it would be very good for her

Courtney was in Sweden last week writing & recording new songs with Swedish artists, Miss Li and Sonny Gustafsson. Earlier this week she posted on Instagram that the three of them had recorded some amazing music that she couldn't wait to share with everyone. Interestingly enough among the hundreds of replies to that posts was one from a Kyle Puccia, who wrote Courtney that it had been so much fun working with her on the lyrics to which Courtney's reply was "yes, was so cool." Turns out Kyle Puccia is a singer, songwriter, vocal coach, who co-wrote seven of the songs on Miss Li's 2018 album that was nominated for the Swedish equivalent of a Grammy. Kyle Puccia himself posted the following on Instagram, "Last week I was in London but got to FaceTime with @courtneyhadwin & @missliofficial back in Stockholm! Courtney was writing new songs w Linda & @whoawhoagustafsson all week. Courtney’s voice and talent are so powerful and unique and I can’t wait to hear how the songs come out " So yea, when it drops, Courtney's album is going to fun, original & very definitely all Courtney.

I'm surprised she is with the Struts. To me, I thought they were the reason she didn't make the AGT finals. It seemed the lead singer was competing with her on some level and that he was trying to out-do her at the beginning of that performance.

Yep i think this track was a way of proving her vocal abilitys to the doubters and Yes you're right about how she held the last power note, she did something similar in her aft audition. I personally would have liked to hear her drop of the note at the end instead of just chopping it. If you understand what I mean.

I agree with you about the Tina Turner comparison. She's got that aggressive stomping manner and the way she doesn't sing notes sometimes, it's more like she attacks the notes. But in this song she's showing a more restrained style, which is exciting for her potential going forward. She's not a one trick pony.

Tina Turner is definitely an influence. After all, she did a cover of Tina's original "Nutbush City Limits" at her Britain's the Voice, Kids Audition (That you already reacted to). She has also cited James Brown as a dance/stage influence. As far as her music goes, unlike Grace, and even Angelina, I haven't been able to find anything of Courtney's outside of You Tube videos and yet I know she has an original (Pretty Little Thing) and a record deal. So maybe they are just on subscription formats I don't use.

Nice reaction, HM! Courtney did do a cover of an Aerosmith song when she was younger, it was "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing". Anyway, all artist have influences from other artists, so it's not surprising that you caught a little Steven Tyler in there. The thing is she takes those influences and makes them her own. :) I'm a drummer and I have strong influences from various drummers. Neil Peart from Rush is a strong influence on me, but there are other great drummers that have influenced me also, so I don't sound exactly like Neil Peart and I don't try to. I have my own style, but you might recognize a fill or beat I do that sounds somewhat like Neil or some other famous drummer. :)
