This song is basically about Courtney was with a record company and they wanted her to do music in their way but she wants to do music in hallway and they tried to break her and she end up leaving them to being independent he wants to write her own songs and do the music the way she wants to do

LOVE it! This was Courtney's first official release of an original song, first concept video, and first release as the independent artist she was always meant to be. She surprised a lot of us who fell in love when she rocked the house on AGT by starting her new music with a beautiful ballad, but as some of the other commenters pointed out, she had a story to tell. It's been an exciting year for Courtney Hadwin fans. Thank you for this.

The lyrics in this song, like others Courtney has released gives each of us different meanings, but I do feel based on what hints we've received from her, have a lot to do with her experiences in the music business over the pas 4 or 5 years. The troubles she had with not only Covid but also with those who made promises to her, and probably those who tried to shape her into something she's not. Courtney is ultimate individual, even at such a young age. Some have mentioned she knows what she wants to do. You don't try to persuade her. She gives ideas and if you know how to manifest what she looking for things work. Her producer Kevin Bowe, also song writer works with her perfectly. The two of them are quite the team together. This next release "Monsters" you mentioned has already been a huge success and is charting extremely well in a number of countries along side some of the top artists in the business under the rock genre charts on iTunes. Her fans ask for rock this time and she has delivered. I only heard what others have heard on her social media clips, but I got to believe it's a real rocker to chart so well as an independent and pretty much a newbie. You got this Courtney. There's electricity in the air.

@@donleinfelder7172 Wish I could do that too, but as far as I've found so far, none of my regional stations are NOT all pre-recorded pre-programmed garbage. There ARE a lot of stations here in California, so maybe I missed the ONE that still lets people at their stations make any decisions like discovering new artists/music. I miss the old days when I could give feedback that actually MATTERED and made any kind of difference at my local radio stations. I don't bother to listen to the pablum they're spewing out now. Much prefer my own playlists of REAL MUSIC, and discovering new artists/music on my own, here on YT with the help of Reaction channels like this, and YT vids from The Voice Kids from all over the world, which is how I found Courtney, Daneliya, and Angelina. Amazing amount of real talent out there going underappreciated. But those three young ladies are on a whole 'nother level of expertise and capabilities. There's just nobody like Courtney to bring the roots of Rock and modern music back to life. Can't believe a child under 10yo STUDIED those old greats here on YT and decided I'm gonna be like Tina Turner and Janice Joplin and James Brown....

@@donleinfelder7172 Donnie, I've been trying. I even dug up one of the bigger disc jockey's email in my area who's been around for decades and now runs a few stations. Had to dig a bit to find that. I hoping she'll reply back. All I asked was that she listen to Courtney's rock performances and then let me know what you think. Figure once she heard her she'd be like all of us and become an instant fan.
