She took their version and put it on steroids. This version is fabulous. One thing about Courtney. When she does a cover, you can guarantee it won’t sound any thing like the original. Courtney’s creativity is off the charts and she only covers a song when she has a different take on how it can be sung. I always suggest to anyone listening to a Courtney cover, that you listen to the original first. It will only add to the astonishment when you hear what she has done with it. You were talking about Courtney’s personality. Yes, she is different on the stage and off. Off the stage, she may be the most genuine and authentic person I’ve ever seen. She does frequent live chats, mostly on IG, with her fans and she is an absolute delight to interact with. Thanks for your Courtney reaction, can't wait to see your reaction to Courtney's Christmas video. The way she delivers this song is breath taken, and the video is adds so much more to it. Courtney's the only artist I have witnessed that can make any song so unbelievable great. Yes she's also just as amazing at one of her lives on instagram. You definitely need to watch them them, than you will truly understand what Courtney's all about. I love to hear her singing, but I also love to hear her talk just as much. At six-teen she's way ahead of her time, she understands music like no other artists, past or present. I don't believe that anyone can catch up to Courtney, because she works so hard everyday to be so much better tomorrow. Everytime you hear her perform you are seeing exactly what I'm talking about. She's already a world wide star, and on her way to becoming an iconic super star artist.

@@bushysmama7488 She is just as amazing as a person. You will be totally entrained as you watch how she interacts with her fans. She does a lot of song request from the fans. Even though they are not rehearsed she'll blow you away with her vocals. There's a lot of lives out there you can watch and enjoy.

Loved your reaction! You get it. This girl is unique. I also appreciate that you know the evolution of rock and roll and judging by your backdrop you truly appreciate music. You have seen high spots and low spots and corporate industry offerings. This young lady is old school and she has the chops to prove it. She becomes the song and the music moves her. You will love her Christmas song. Not to be a spoiler but JL would be proud.

At one point I think many of us thought that was the case. But Courtney later confirmed that she only used their line on AGT. That she buys her own clothing when she finds something that grabs her attention. Calvin Klein looked to be in talks with her. True or not she said only on AGT.

She does regular live Instagram streams they’re available on KZread, she also does the odd song during it on her guitar

You are right on about Courtney's bright future, Bushy Mama (I usually abreviate names a lot, but BM did not seem quite appropriate)! Courtney is only 14 there but there are 3 other songs on her VEVO channel that are just as different and just as good. You are also correct that the Jonas Brothers' version is much different and very poppy--not nearly as good. She is 16 now, maturing nicely with much more social ease. There are several KZread replays of her Instagram lives where you get a much better idea of her quirky and funny personality. One in particular where she plays an unplugged version of her original, "Why Don't We" is a good one to react to; it has the makings of a future hit!

There are a number of Courtney’s interviews on KZread from which you will see that she is really a meek and polite young lady, very different to the fireball we love her to be when she is singing.

Glad to see this got unblocked. I was so looking forward to your reaction to this type of song by her. I didn't realize you had known her on AGT. This cover by Courtz was recorded at a very large popular studio in London. The room with the amps backdrop was just big enough for her to move around, but nothing like she would have if it were a stage. She's still a beast on a stage and will make the best concert ever. Everything you mention in this video is spot on. You have brought to attention all the things that dedicated fan would want to brag to you about Courtney. If you haven't notice, watch the 2 musicians having a blast and looking to each other and smiling as if to say "This girl is amazing, I'm having a blast with this". Look for the uk voice she did at between 11-12 years old. You could tell then she was going to be a great artist and she followed her self. Let bushy know that you have know that the Christmas song isn’t going to be pure Courtney. But it’s was good. Also the one that you started to listen to wasn’t made for everyone’s response but her fooling around with a song still good just not made for release however she’s all about her fan’s and they wanted more but she’s stuck until the quarantine is over. So she does all she can to communicate with her fans. I hope you listen to more and I know you will see the talent. Best wishes to you and your mom.

So just ask Edward DeVogele... and/or Bert Painter and a few others we are all very grateful for - they alway seem to have a handle in who, where, when and what 👍 I know how hard you tried saving Bushy Beard from adverse reactions to his clumsy illinformed missteps - and I suppose it WAS pretty funny 🤪😄 but thank goodness you speak your mind when he's not around 👍❤💕 I know! I have 2 questions for you after watching this again and again. How did this get unblocked ? More importantly, is you mention reacting to Courtney's Christmas cover of "Happy Xmas (War is Over) by John Lennon. But it hasn't showed up yet. I think you said it would be the next day. I can't see that one getting blocked because it's not under her Label. It's independently done and no one that I'm aware of has had any problems with reactions getting blocked. Maybe you just have it in the wings to be uploaded yet. Also, a small bit of info on Courtney's videos. There's so so many great ones you'll want to see and hopefully react to. AGT, of course had 5 of them going to the finals. But she was also on Voice Kids the year before which is how AGT got her. And she did another shocking audition on that show with 3 others following to the finals. Plus so many home recordings. Hope you continue to follow her consistently. There hasn't be any reactor that doesn't think the world of her talent wise and personally. I hope you had a chance to watch some of her live chats I linked in my other comments.
