Hi SEL. Another great Courtney reaction. As always, Courtney took a song and 'Courterized' it. This was originally a pop song hit by the Jonas Bros and Courtney turned it into a Funk masterpiece. This is just unbelievably good and I defy any one to listen to this song and remain still. Courtney's rendition just doesn't allow it. It pulls you right along with it and forces you to move to it's beat. It is such a catchy and upbeat performance that it can't help but put a smile on your face and a bounce in your step. No disrespect to the Jonas Bros., but from the second I heard Courtney's layout of this song and what she had done with her rendition of it, I really had no desire to ever hear the original again. As far as I'm concerned, Courtney now owns this song. The Voice of a lifetime.

@@TheSpeakEasyLounge When you hear the original song, you'll realize that it has nothing to do with Courtney's version: she owns it, it looks like Jonas Bros's is the cover of Courtney's. As Edward said, she turned it into a masterpiece. She's the best.

I love how you went through your room to show it was the real deal. I was wondering myself if the room was a back drop or some kind of green screen, when I saw all the bass guitars, keys and drums sitting there. Your hubby's got quite the setup and music collection. Derek Trucks was part of The Alman Brothers Band in 1999-2010. Great addition for them. And Robin Trower was in my music library as well. He had that Jimi Hendrix guitar sound with his Stratacaster. And that guitar (which is also a Stratocaster) was hand painted by Lael Goldberg's father instagram.com/p/BTzZGPAhjXE/. Lael Goldberg is one of the session musicians Courtney had in this video when she was recordingn the 4 Cover Sessions songs, whcih he is also in. kzread.infovideos. There's a few other songs Courtney added to her channel too if you hadn't noticed on her videos tab in this link. Anyway, so happy to see reactors like yourself get into Courtney. She is what's missing in most musicians today. She just knows how to give it her all. She's always going to give a full on "Balls to the Walls" type performance. There's no holding back with Courtney. I doubt she could sing like most singers do today and just stand there and sing, lol. The closest I've seen her be like that is in her "Happy Xmas" cover of John Lennon's original on her channel. And even then she's barely staying still. So far you've seen Courtney's rock side. I think the next reaction you do, you might want to check into her ballads with the Courtney Twist, as she always gives a little bit extra and surprise when she does a song. Just when you think she's being tamed and quiet, "Boom", she turns it on. Try this one. Looking forward and can't wait until she shocks you with some different genres she's performed. I got to know, does you husband play the keyboards and drums too. I see all the different basses he has there. I assume he also plays guitar to. Though I don't see one there. I think I've watched this video close to 1000 times now and I still have a hard time concentrating on the reactor when she's performing it. I have to force myself to watch you guys facial expressions when she hit certain notes with that raspy gritty growl she does. It usually takes me 3 or 4 times of watching Courtney 1st to just pay attention to the reactor, lol. She so damn expressive and her moves for a 14 year old is just the best. And she tries to say she can't dance. She's nuts if she really believes herself, lolol. Girl has got as much rhythm in her bones as MJ or Elvis at her age.

Yeah, just gotta LOVE those snuck looks that Lael and his pal are exchanging behind her back! I can just hear them: "OMG, can you believe this?!" "Oh, yeah, there she goes!" ...and that spin, she's a caged tigress, she NEEDS a really BIG stage. NOW! I'd been thinking it'd be nice if she had her own Stageline SAM450 to tour with (if she can EVER break into that damned monopoly on venues, tickets, and more). Now , however, I realize she NEEDS a full SAM750 even if it DOES take another day or more to put up and take down, and LOTS more tractor-trailers to transport it all. And a BIG crew. Oh well. SPOILER And, of course, the mic drop after her 4th cover in that series (Old Town Road), the series she did at insistence of her label(s) if others' comments are to be believed. On the other hand, she sure showed people a lot more styles and techniques than many realized she'd mastered. Courtz ROCKS even when she's not rockin & rollin. If you don't believe me, get a handkerchief ready, be sure to take your heart meds first, and take a listen to her latest, Call Me Back.

Where have I been all this time ??? This girl is amazing & this song was perfect. Looks like I`m going to be busy for awhile exploring her music. Another great reaction from you with a bonus room tour. It looked real to me by the way 👌😄

Great reaction, how can I persuade you to react to Courtney`s "Love hurts"? I find your reactions very appropriate and look forward to further reactions about Courtney - it will hit like a bomb (after the corona pandemic) and conquer all stages in the world. I totally agree with you about her style. It is nice to see her being clean, yet flashy. That suit does suit her. I really do hope that she can keep like this for her future career in the industry. If she follows the path of Taylor Swift, for the most part she has kept herself pretty clean, and not follow that path of Miley. Hi Darren, Taylor Swift is a decent Role model, MUCH UNLIKE Miley (I Can't stand her). I appreciate the suggestion & link, I will actually give you MY email and you can send me some of your Visual art work or Photography- If you want to submit writing materials, I would suggest short stories, or something that can be Video/Audio recorded. That way, I can put it HERE (in my Garage Poetry Playlist- Which I might change the name, if I get things other than Poetry, to something more Open ended) as well as on the website. I am also a writer, It's so weird saying that, as I haven't written in a while, but I have been published for my Poetry and am working on a Novel. (if I can ever get motivated to sit down and write some more). I have another KZread channel for writers, but I haven't done anything with it yet. I'd love to share some of your work. About a month or so ago I designed this Ambigram that said "COURTNEY HADWIN THE SHY TEEN" and when rotated it says "ROCK QUEEN COURTNEY HADWIN". Jennifer (right?), thanks for another great Courtney reaction! You mentioned some other good talents and said it depends on the mood. If I'm in the mood for hot, then it's Courtney. Problem is, I'm usually in the mood for hot. Sucker was a big pop hit for the Jonas Brothers. You should listen to the original; I would be interested in your response. I think the song is now hers, as it usually is when Courtney completely transforms a cover. Keep doing more young Courtney as we impatiently wait for her belated album.🙏

Courtney has so far recorded with at least 6 song writers over the last three years. No originals have yet to be released. She has repeatedly promised an album of original music is coming. Seems Covid has caused cancelling of planned performances this year. Unfortunately no official announcements of her plans have been forthcoming for a long time now. I am getting concerned.

Yeah, Woodstock 50 folded in 2019 with her on list for main stage. Pandemic restrictions have SAVAGED musicians and the live music industry (which is where most real profits come from for the singer/songwriters and band members). And then, in 2022, FM4 Frequency canceled too. AGAIN with Courtney signed to perform. This girl. It's no wonder her first released single was 'Breakable'. Anybody can be broken. Anyone, no matter how strong and confident. But, she's got 3 singles out now, and likely a 4th and then full album of originals. I just worry how much of her best-to-date-work (IP) might be owned by label and never released now that she's no longer under contract and free to do it HER WAY. Window for 2024 Grammy's eligibility opens soon iirc (October?) so we should see top singles and debut albums from Courtz, Angelina Jordan, and Daneliya soon after that opening. Gonna be an interesting year! targets: music industry, publishing industry, and film industry vs. Creatives on the 'net. As for those dinos, this too shall pass. Time for mammals to emerge.

It's too bad you didn't hear the original first because there's no comparison. Courtney owns it hands down! Also if you've noticed Courtney is all over the stage when she performs and if this room had been any bigger she would have been going for broke! Thanks for your Courtney reactions!

Guess that just me, I don't like to promote lazy knowledge as a truth, it's just pure self inflation, instead of truth and give the entire broadcast no credulity at all. Way too much of that today, people not researching the facts.

As in any reaction to anything in life, the more surprised you are, the more authentic your reaction appears. And the word "lazy" and "self inflation" used in this sense is not exactly something that seems even remotely close to what's real here. Actually, I'd be offended by that. And I'm a huge believer in researching before speaking or commenting. But in this case it's called a reaction for a reason. And as my mother says, sometimes "Less is More". And I know she is one smart lady. I used that method a lot in life and I'm surprised how much people want to spew out info to you because no one is saying anything. Works just about every time.
