OP: starting to turn blue because she is not breathing! Karen: STOP THAT!!!!! You are just pretending stop turning blue and let my son take you home. OP: still unconscious and getting even bluer. OPs friends: PUT HERE DOWN!!! Can’t you see that she isn’t breathing?! Quick we have to call a ambulance! Karen: don’t be stupid! OP is just pretending she is probably just holding her breath just so she doesn’t have to talk to me. But I KNOW!! That she is faking it! Karen looking at OP Karen: WAKE UP!! Stop pretending to be asleep! You are just being so rude! The only thing I ask is that you let my son drive you home is that so hard to get!! Also stop turning blue I don’t like blue and it doesn’t look good on you. OPs friends look horrified at the evil woman in front of them holding their sick unconscious and now very very blue friend in her hands. Karen: what are you staring at?! You can clearly see that OP is just faking so stop being so worried. I’m not even hurting her. Cops show up! OPs friends: please get this crazy woman off our friend! She is sick and now she isn’t breathing! We have called for a ambulance! Cop grabs the Karen! COP: LET GO OF THIS GIRL NOW! Karen but my son is supposed to be taking her home and now she is faking being asleep and holding her breath! COP: I SAID LET HER GO!! The cop makes Karen let OP go and her friends hurry to gently grab OP and keep her safe until the abundance gets there. Karen: but I didn’t do anything wrong!! COP: you just assaulted this young girl and now she is dying and it’s your fault! Karen: but she is faking it! (Karen is screaming) The ambulance arrives and begins the tend to OP COP: Karen you are under arrest for assaulting a minor. Karen: but...but..she! Cop: enough! The cop handcuffs Karen. In the mean time the ambulance staff have stabilized OP with oxygen and OP wakes up to see Karen in handcuffs looking angry. Even if it’s not exactly what happened I would like to think that it did. It definitely sounds like something that a Karen would do.

You act on delusions of self righteousness that makes you feel as though its okay to justify hating all Muslims because of their extremists. Nothing I wrote, in any way, indicates that I hate any group completely because of the actions of a few members of the group, but you accusing me of hating everyone because of a few members just shows your own prejudices against the "others" who do not belong to that particular group, and exposes your own bigotry. As for what you say about Christians, there are people who act that way, or are you ignoring that fact? In many cases, though, many people who claim to be Christians fail to follow Christian principles (What The Christ taught) so can not really be called true Christians, because their actions and attitudes speak far louder than words.

After him telling me "you'll understand when you're older" (I'm 38) and "you have no clue in life", I told him "we're done talking politics. I want to have a relationship with you but you keep belittling me and treating me like I'm a kid. " I told him if he wasn't going to stop then I would end contact with him and he went off saying he doesn't belittle me, that I can't take it. That if I want to cut contact and never talk to him again, fine. We haven't talked politics since. But after that I was seriously on the verge of cutting contact with him. He's always played the "I"m older so I know more" card which is utter BS as the topics we discuss I actually do research on and learn about the subject so I'm at least somewhat informed on, where he just listens to the media and then tells me I'm only listening to the media and not thinking for myself even when I'd proven time and time again otherwise. To give an example of where his mindset is at, I posted something Trump said, criticizing it, and he claimed fake news (as they do), so I posted the transcript of Trump's speech from the white house website, and he kept saying fake news, that the media is lying, and he would not accept the fact that the link I sent wasn't the MSM, but Trump's actual administration that runs the freaking website. Then after it happening again on another post, he said "oh, I didn't know that wasn't the media". It's in the name. No media can have whitehouse.gov.

And on the first page it was clearly written that 'PERSONAL DIARY, DO NOT OPEN'. She read everything and broadcasted it to the entire family (excluding the part where she did things to me emotionally and highlighted the part about unaliving and claiming that I was psychotic). When I defended that she shouldn't have read my diary in the first place, she told me that I should have written only 'good' things in the diary. She still claims that she did nothing wrong and whatever I suffered was 'bad karma of my previous life'. I don't talk about myself much, particularly about my trauma, since I know she will gaslight me. She thinks I'm healed and I wanna keep it that way before I move out for college next year and seek therapy. I'll make sure NOT to inform her about that though😂

I see a therapist once a week and I talk about my abusive sister almost every experience that I have with my therapist. She's like this Mom who wants to know all the time if I'm talking about her and what I'm saying. You have to set your boundaries. You have to be able to talk about your trauma without having to worry about what other people are going to think about it.

Some people indicate three to four years as "3-4 yrs", not "3/4 yrs". All through school in America, it was a hyphen between numbers to indicate a range, and a slash between the numbers to indicate a fraction, so that is the way I interpreted it, too. I don't know how it is done in other countries.

To everyone who is reading this have a nice thanksgiving and if you don’t celebrate it have a nice rest of your day! Now I have something to share with the people of KZread because i can’t post this on redit yet lmao, I have stomach problems. Nothing to bad I would think but I go through a decent amount of not normal stomach pain. This day it was Monday (before all this COVID stuff like last year or 2 years ago) and I had school. I wasn’t in any pain I just didn’t wanna go to school- (TW vomiting and mixing foods) -so I put my orange juice in my hand of Cheerios and put it in my mouth, CHEWED IT, and I was gonna act like that was the vomit but the taste was so bad I VOMITED. I got to stay home with my mom and I did the same thing the next day, and they day after that. At that point it was Wednesday and my mom took me to the doctor. I. WAS. TERRIFIED. But you wanna know what I am more terrified of..? Getting in trouble. I fake it at the doctor and they find out that I’m CONSTIPATED AND ITS BAD, LIKE REALLY BAD. AS IF I DONT GO TO THE BATHROOM IN A FEW DAY IMA GET LIKE SURGERY AND CRAP. I was given horrible medicine that made me throw up but to this day... I still have the problems and have to take the medication every know and then if I don’t go to the bathroom :/

I know, right? I find it incredibly weird how many are "Christian," rather than Christian. Like, the most homophobic, hateful, mean-spirited people in the world think that going to church once a day and chanting words in their brain somehow makes up for, or absolves them the responsibility of, everything they do the other six days of the week. I have real Christians on my friend list, and though I'm atheist and they believe in God, we get on pretty well as long as we understand and accept that there are some things we simply won't agree on. Then the "Christian" shows up, and there's nothing but spite, rhetoric, and hellfire and brimstone because no matter how good a person I may be, it doesn't matter unless I submit to Jesus and God. That I can live Jesus' teachings all I want, but unless I actually SAY "I believe in Jesus and God and submit myself to him", I will still suffer for eternity in agony, and that they're okay with that, because at least THEY will be in heaven for actually acknowledging their sky fairy. Like, how do they pay such cheap lip service to the ideals and yet fail so miserably at actually understanding them? Bluh, sorry, I went on a rant. This is a lot of words for saying 'yeah, I agree with you."

@@Silverserri Same. I was married for 14 years to a deeply religious man. He read his Bible daily. I'm also an atheist. Our relationship only worked because, before we started dating & while we were still friends, we set up ground rules where we had respect for the other person & their beliefs. We also agreed to not try change those beliefs. We only aren't still married because I'm a widow. After the car accident, I threw him the best darned religious funeral I could for him, not for me. He thought he talked to God when he drove from Texas to Minnesota in one shot after he was discharged from the Army. I think he had auditory hallucinations brought on by stress & extreme lack of sleep. I would have never told him what I thought just because it didn't hurt me to let him believe what he needed to in order to cope with a world that doesn't make sense sometimes. He respected my wish to live my life based on evidence, facts & science & didn't try change my mind when he didn't agree either. The stuff we disagreed about with each other was day to day living such as what to spend money on, what to do for which kid & which set of parents to go see on which holiday. In my view it's the "Christians" without enough faith in their religion who need everyone to live by their religion because that way, if everyone does it, they can't be wrong. If everyone has to live the way they do then it's not "unfair" that they can't do such & such & I can. I don't think they really believe at all. I think they are hedging their bets & hoping all the sacrifice will get them somewhere. If you can be a completely hateful individual & get into heaven because you say you believe in a "sky daddy" & your butt is in a pew every Sunday for 45 minutes to an hour but someone else can help those less fortunate than they are their whole lives & get tortured for all eternity simply because they had the misfortune to be born to the "wrong" set of parents who didn't know any better (according to the Christian religion) since the vast majority of people stay in the religion they're born into, I'm not sure how valuable that religion is in the first place. I mean, I don't believe any of it but that's the question I had as a 6 year old that led me to where I'm at now.

I also have a toxic narcissistic mother and have spent years in therapy dealing with it. After years of no contact my mother begged me to let her meet my son. I told her I would not even entertain the idea until we went to family therapy and she owned up to her abuse. It actually became a profoundly important moment in my life. She came for one week of sessions with a new family therapist. The entire time she did her song and dance- lying, crying, accusing, screaming, faking passing out, threatening, the whole 9 yards, maintaining that I was lying about the abuse and being "dramatic". But then something amazing happened. Towards the middle of the week the therapist would call her out for her previous bad behavior and my mom would swear IT DIDN"T HAPPEN and that NOT WHAT SHE SAID! It wasn't long before she was calling the therapist all the names she called me and accusing her of lying and being dramatic. Before my very eyes I had confirmation (for the first time in my life) that I was right, I wasn't crazy. In case you're wondering- the therapist quit 5 days in and advised me to never talk to my mother again if I could avoid it : )
