r/Entitledparents I Gave My Wife $1,000,000... Then She Called The Cops On Me

r/Entitledparents In today's episode, OP takes over his lazy wife's business and grows it from a $100k business into a $1 million business. So how does his selfish wife reward him? By calling the cops on him! She reports him to child protective services, accusing him of abusing their own daughter. This is a total lie, of course, and now OP has to prove it to the policy. And you know what the crazy thing is? Throughout all this, the wife still expects the husband to keep working at her business and keep making $1,000,000 for her!

My favorite story I've ever heard about the Queen of England was about a visit by a Saudi prince AND the queen herself drove him on a 'tour' of the are around one of her estates... At speed... In a Range Rover... At a time when Saudi women were not allowed to drive ( they can now as of June 2019). Bearing in mind that during WW2 she served as a Army transport driver. Even if the story with the kids computer is several years old, from how it’s worded, it sounds like the kids account was banned because he had cracked ALL of the games that he owned. That means he didn’t pay Steam AT ALL for the games, and that could be several hundred dollars , if not more, depending on how many there where.

Is interesting. Because this seems more like he tried to use steam for the online part, and that is how he got banned. I had some like that for the mere fact my country raised the prices recently so afford one start to get even hard, even more new ones. So i wait till the same lower the price or there is discounts. BUT in the meantime i play some for the sake of not keep behind. AND once i can afford it, instead of download it again, i simply relocate the downloaded one to the steam path, and let steam revise if need some missing files and there the game is working again with the same savefile. I literally did that for games like Disgaea 5, Xcom 2, Digimon CyberSleuth or Elden Ring. Sometimes i do it for "test" them if i want to buy it. So the ones i end up loving it and can afford it are the ones i buy it on steam.

Illegal/Illegitimate ownership or purchasing of games. 2. Multiple violations of Steam or game TOS as well as community TOS. 3. Your steam account received too many game ban violations.

The last one reminded me of my own personal run in with cultural sexism. Though it was definitely more anger towards women. The guy would treat me like dirt while being polite to my male coworkers. When I rang him up, I tried handing him a coupon and he crumpled it up and threw it at me. It hit my face and I blew up and threw it back and said basically that this job isn't worth the abuse and they either did something about this or I quit and the guy was thrown out and banned after the higher ups found out about how he did this with numerous female employees. I was just the first to fight back. Yall should have seen the look on his(the customers) face though. Almost like he had no idea a woman was even capable of blowing up on him like that. Not my proudest moment but everyone has a breaking point, I suppose. I don't work for that company anymore. (Not related just found a better job) Good Riddance.

Getting rid of someone with false accusations of abuse like that, can easily backfire as it did in that story. Each accusation turning up false just turns the authorities eyes on the accuser and makes them look more and more abusive. That much insistence to get rid of someone has to have a reason and that many false accusations really looks bad. By pushing so hard she really brought losing her kids on herself.

That’s funny about the Saudi Arabian father. I was in Paris with my Saudi Arabian client + his wife & kids. We were having dinner after my business meeting with the father. I am female. The man’s 8 year old son took a liking to me & became very concerned that I was an unprotected woman in America. He was looking at my clothing & when we all asked him what he was looking for; he said he was trying to find a place for me to conceal a gun so I’d be safe. He’d never been to the United States & he seemed to believe women weren’t safe & people went around shooting each other willy-nilly. His father had told me he was worried about his son’s obsession with guns. This was so funny & I tried to reassure the boy I was safe without laughing. He was genuinely freaked out & worried for me. It’s so interesting to see through someone else’s eyes, even if he was only 8 years old. I met so many people from so many cultures, it was quite an experience... But you do have to be wiling to pay attention & never judge...I was lucky to have many years of experiences with all kinds of people...

@@katlindmark216 I haven't tried moose or elk, but I've been lucky enough to have venison on a couple of occasions. I'm looking forward to getting out hunting soon, myself. That's an interesting perspective; I suppose that if you live in a country where you feel that your government has your best interests at heart, that it's perfectly reasonable to trust that the government will only allow responsible gun owners to keep guns. In the US, there's a fear that if the government mandated training courses, that they could prevent people from having guns simply by denying people (or certain types of people) the availability of the courses. We do, at least in some states, require hunter training courses, but because we're inclined to believe that the right to protect yourself is of greater importance than the freedom to hunt, there's no license required to own firearms for self protection in our homes, only to carry them concealed in public. I think that a lot of people in the US are inclined to not trust our government, but we were founded by rebels, so maybe we're just bred for that, lol. I don't often get to speak with Europeans who own firearms, so it's really great to hear that perspective. Why do you feel that it wouldn't be reasonable to use a firearm for self protection? If you own one, and were a victim of a break-in, or worse, you really wouldn't use it? I understand, too, that your rifle would probably be harder to get to than mine is currently and using it for self defense may cause you to lose your license, but if those weren't concerns, I can't imagine someone not using the most effective tool at hand if their life were in danger.
