r/Nuclearrevenge She Cheated On Me, So I Completely Destroyed Her Life

r/Nuclearrevenge In today's story, OP starts dating a girl named Lisa, and he falls for her hard. After a night of drinking, he discovers that she has been cheating on him repeatedly throughout their entire relationship. What follows is an incredibly epic, toxic, and destructive plan for revenge wherein OP systematically destroys every aspect of her life. He's so destructive in his path for vengeance that he even destroys his own life as well, but nothing can stop OP from hurting his cheating ex.

@@DannyDorito1037 the difference with the other posts and this one on that sub is that the revenge is justifiable because receiver did something so bad enough to deserve it. OP got cheated on and decided to mentally abuse his ex to the point she contemplated suicide, and OP felt little to no remorse about it after the fact and instead mostly patted himself on the back about how good his life is now after destroying someone else’s. The more this story progressed, the more I started frowning. The revenge started good. But as it progressed this guy got more sadistic. I've been cheated on. I've been hurt, manipulated and depressed; I don't think I could do this. I may fantasize about it but actually being this evil is too much. Driving someone to the brink of suicide is not okay. Imagine if she actually killed herself. Cheating shouldn't had been met with such a brutal and sadistic string of actions that continued YEARS after the event. And roping in innocent people that had nothing to do with the cheating, and ruining relationships is also not okay. This guy blamed girls and roped them in because "Oh they're cheaters too" on the off chance they actually took the bait. He manipulated and used people to tend his sadisting Psychological torture boner. I have no sympathy for this kind of behavior and I hope his wife finds out what kind of monster she lives with.

I put this story down for a while because of how evil OP was. Only now have I picked it back up and finished. I have to say there are two trains of thought I have with this story and in both of them I agree that everything he suffered through in his drug abuse was well deserved. The place where my paths differ is the idea in other comments questioning the legitimacy of this story. If this story is fake, then he has no sympathy from me and I have nothing else to say. I walk away in disgust at how such a mind can be so depraved to come up with such a thing. May work in a paperback horror or something, but I would still be disgusted at that person’s existence. If all of it is true however, then I hope he took his near-death as a turning point for him. Sometimes it takes something really bad happening to you to realize how much trouble you’ve gotten yourself into and to know that you can’t keep living that way. The part where he didn’t take revenge on Cheater #2 would signal a sign of self-growth because he was healing from drug abuse. And then for who he married, I would imagine she probably did know how bad of a person he was and if that’s the case, she would have already accepted he was trying to turn over a new leaf and I hope their new lives work out for them.

This entire story had me instinctively scoot away from the screen and feel sick. It would've been one thing if it had been a revenge he looks back on with shame, but his tone still makes him sound proud of the way he just systematically destroyed this girl life, taking out multiple innocent others in the process. OP is a terrible person and what happened does not make what he did justifiable in any way. Yes, Lisa isn't a good person either and definitely deserved a punishment for her actions, but I don't think anybody deserves to be mentally tortured to the point of getting suicidal the way she was. Additionally, destroying relationships of people who didn't have anything to do with the situation is sick. Even if the story is fake (which I suspect), it still doesn't change anything. OP has a horrifyingly nihilistic view on the world, relationships, and women if he thinks this story shows him in any kind of positive light. The only way this story would work is if it were deliberately written from the point of view of a villain, an origin story of sorts.

Man this hits close to home.. To give some context, I understand. I did something similar to this. Though if anything worse (he got close to sleeping with her family, I actually did) Cheating is some very nasty shit. Some people get through it, some people learn from it, some people don’t and go back. Then there’s those that break from it. It’s hard to explain but something just snaps and you don’t even know it. You start to find any and every opportunity to make that other person feel pain and you just feel good about it.. all you hear in your head is “fuck you, fuck you, and fuck you” as you don’t even look at girls as girls anymore. It’s difficult to put into words WHY you do it because it’s almost like being suicidal. You want out of the pain, you so desperately wanna feel something else that making some else hurt just feels like a distraction. It’s hard to say if some heal from it. I didn’t I know that lol. To this day (while I stopped messing around) I don’t even try anymore. Luckily op sounds like he’s doing better and learned his mistake. But it goes to show how badly something like this can hurt. I’m not saying you don’t take responsibility because you certainly do. But you’re so numb to emotions you don’t care. You just hope that blaming the person who hurt you is enough.

OP was such a good guy and was taken advantage of, despite never having done anything. He became high on the power trip of having s*x and drugs, which is his fault, but these girls chose to cheat on their partners, just like the OPs coach said. This is the definition of nuclear revenge. Someone screwed up so the OP got back at her multiple times as bad. Big deal, these girls made bad choices and enabled the OP's unhealthy coping mechanisms. Don't only blame the OP when everyone around him were just as bad.

I truly wish that OP's wife reads this story so she's aware that her 'wonderful' husband is nothing but a sick man. Actually, I'm afraid that if she does something OP doesn't like, his punishment would be worse than death.

Okay, this is the first revenge story here where I don’t have sympathy for OP. At first, sure, the cheating was horrible … but his revenge was EXCESSIVE and hurt a ton of people. He said he went from being a kind naive kid to *that* because of her cheating … no way. Those personality traits were already in there somewhere. Jesus, can you even imagine the things he could possibly do in a potential custody battle some day?
