Hey like two weeks ago, i went to see eye doctor, the prescription was -1 OD and -0.5 OS. the doc recommended single distan-tint and photogrey glasses. so here is a thing, i spebd 5-7 hours on screen (laptop & phone) thats my work. during a day i see perfectly fine, but at night i see blurry vision on distance. I never wear glasses since i was born, 27 y.o next month. what should i do? shud i get glasses (which one)? or stop screen time for sometime? any eye exercise? @nottnott

Hey @NottNott.I have a -1.25 in the left eye with -1 stigmatism and -3.75 in the right eye without any stigmatism.This means that I have low myopia in one eye and high myopia in the other right?So,should I consider wearing differentials.with a -1 correction in the right eye and no correction in the left?.Can I ignore the stigmatism in the differentials(If i wear)cuz its juts -1.Do I have amblyopia.If so can you tell some endmyopia method to fix it.PLEASE NOTTNOTT NO ONE IS HELPING ME .PLEASE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION.PLEASE and you are doing a great job by the way

Came like that. There's a setting to have an engraving when ordering from Zenni - check it out when you're ordering it's right there

Are you in the UK? If so, where do you get your glasses from? All the UK glasses shops need a signed prescription to buy and zenni doesn't ship to the uk anymore.

@@NottNott Fab! I'll give them a shot! In the T&Cs is says they can ask for confirmation of your prescription at any time in the process but hopefully they don't actually do that.

So I just recently bought my first pair of differential glasses, and... well... they are a bit disappointing. :/ They turned out to be too weak for computer screen use because my eyesight is like -5.50 and the differentials that I bought were -3.00. I thought a -2.50 diopter difference would be enough to see the screen but it turns out it isn't.

Are you saying that you 3.00 negative is not strong enough to see the screen? What did you do?

@@TechVHD Yep. Unfortunately they're too weak. I'm planning on buying -4.00 or -4.50 glasses very soon. I've been super busy these past couple of months so I haven't even had time to buy anything yet.

@@gaynzz6841 I did get those -4.00 diopter glasses eventually. But the switching back and forth between the two glasses was giving me a headache and then I realized even -4 was not enough to see the computer screen because my vision had eventually gone up to -6.

As Jake says,*Not asking for prescription specific advice* there something that I don't understand and it's little confusing for me.My axis value always fluctuate. Here is history, My axis value was always same R-15 L-165 for three year.And 1 week ago I went to doctor for regular check-up and he gave me new prescription( all value where same expect axis) axis value is changed R-10 L-160.I can see clearly with my current 20/20 glasses which has axis value R-15 L-165. Now I want to buy new normalized so should I buy new normalized with pervious axis number or new axis number.And as you tell not to change axis number,so what should I do. And also today I went to glasses shop where I checked my number and at that time my axis value was R-10 L-163.

@@kkevinj1 The glasses I were originally wearing had a different diopter gap to what my optometrist said it should be. They said it should be 1.25. I've brought it down to 0.75

Hay dos partes de este metodo, uno es usar la correcion adecuada para distancias diferentes. Por ejemplo, con Una correccion 1 menos del nivel de miopia, se puede mirar con claridad a una distancia de in metro. Si fuera 2 dioptres menos, seria 50cm. Despues, hay que usar “active focus” para ver cosas mas y mas en la distancia poco a poco.

Bad advice and overhyped at times tbh. I think in a video he recommended not wearing glasses at -4 and going for clear flashes which is just a bad idea. EM is going to work more consistently for more people.
