I agree..been following this team since '91 and have seen some great games/players/wins/losses etc...but this team over the last few seasons has had to overcome some crazy odds, and has come together to be one of the best!! It has been a pleasure to watch how they have bonded, and had that UConn spirit.

Never heard of her til last night’s game. I HAD to look her up bc she was just a DAWG out there!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Nika carried the team on her back last season. She will be missed. I will miss her tenacity, her sense of drive, passion for the sport, her excellent ability playing basketball. As a gum chewer myself, I will remember her for that, too!

The Huskies won this tournament with a lot more experience on the bench, out due to injuries, than they had on the floor!!!! Three freshmen played most of the game and a fourth came in and performed remarkably. What a great season for all these freshmen who expected to play token roles this year and learning. These are some remarkably mentally tough and talented kids!!!!!

She's the prettiest member of her team, imo, but that's just another attribute of this talented athlete. Whatever her academic major at UCONN is, I wish her the best after her graduation and embarks on her next phase of her special life.

Love is a beautiful thing. And, Nika, the influence you are having on the freshmen players is a lesson they can never get in a classroom. They are understanding they have to give 100% effort on both ends of the court and wear the Huskies uniform proudly. But, enough! WE STILL HAVE MORE BASKETBALL TO PLAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do Gino and Chris do it year in and year out? The young women they recruit are beautiful in every sense of the word. You would love to call any of them your daughter. They are a gift to the game of basketball especially for UCONN fans.

It's funny, I don't generally give a crap about college basketball, women's or men's, but I find the UConn girls to be positive, admirable and captivating. I'm late to the party, but here is hoping they finish the job.

These players getting more minutes due to injury could always play...Geno just didn't play the bench!! He hasn't in the past 6 years. He use to...not sure what changed.
