Agree. These two genuinely like each other. And that chemistry carries over onto the court where u can see a nice partnership developing. Nika lets Paige play more like a 2 - where her shooting skills can b fully unleashed. Evidence? BOTH of Paige's 30 point games came w Nika playing significant minutes.

Wait until Azzi Fudd gets there next year! Paige's true best friend. Back to back #1 high school players of the year. It's no wonder Muffet McGraw of Notre Dame retired. She doesn't want to see that UConn headache in the Big East again for the next 4 years.

Going to be a limited role for Nika when Paige's best friend Azzi starts in the back court next season. Better outside shooting will definitely be needed next season.

How great it was that these 2 wonderful athletes with such different backgrounds can work together to create a masterpiece on the court. And I am so happy they can enjoy their experience during this fanless pandemic. And Mama Westbrook clearly is raising her kids right Finally, Aaliyah is also so special. Hope she is feeling better after her collision. Food Luck against SC on Monday.

As postgame interviews generally go, this one ranks near top of long Uconn list for pure entertainment value!

I really like to watch UConn's wbb and see great teamwork. Number 5 and 10 show great maturity and athleticism. It is good to see their behavior off the court, having fun like teenagers can but giving a good interview. And yes I enjoy watching teenagers do great things!

it's been wonderful to see Nika's game coming to life over the past few games. When I saw her sitting in the stands earlier this season, and being talked to by Geno, the pain in her face was so sad. Since then she has become a very important player on the team, and watching this Press Conference it's great to see her smile and laugh.

@@CroaticusMagicus I did a search and watched Nika’s game playing videos on KZread when I first read she was coming to UConn. I knew she would be a great player. She gets better and better with each game. I can’t wait to see UConn play on the home court with a full house after this covid 19 virus is over.

Paige plays better with Nika in the lineup. Now Paige is getting more shots, more open looks as she’s getting the ball back after she passes to her teammates. 😂Nika is finding her open and it’s been paying off. Congrats ladies. 🏀🔥👍

Ok. I could watch these two for hours. My two favorite players. Paige is pretty good 😜 but Nika is the bomb. The straw the stirs the drink. So Nika is number 1 for me.

20 years from now; on my deathbed, I'm going to replay this interview just to remind myself that people can be amazing, and that life is in good hands with them.

Nika is beautiful and has a very slight accent from whichever country she is from. I hope they're ready for SC in a few days.

@@shortaybrown I am - bball is my love, even though I played football :) Unfortunately not a lot of people follow bball here at all, especially W...it used to be different when we were good, long time ago. I'm one of the few that never stopped watching NBA, been following WNBA ever since I found out about it (13-14 years ago), and NCAA shortly after that - when there was chatter in WNBA about Maya Moore draft. Been Huskies fan since day 1 :) The only thing most people know about W bball here is that we had beautiful miss sport bball player in Antonia Misura or whatever she was :)

Bonjour's question was great (Michell Voelpel too). I love this team - not the most dominant Husky team - but for me - easily the most fun team to watch in the 20+ years I've been a fan. Selfless, Humility, 100%_All_Team, Uber_Talented, A joy in their game I've not seen in years. Love 'em all. "Energy giver not energy taker" - says it all

Nika is taking some loads from Paige like bringing the ball down and being the other point guard. Paige can move freely without the ball positioning herself well.

Wow their charisma is similar to Sue Bird (Nika Muhl) and Diana Taurasi (Paige Bueckers). The way they play is similar too eventhough Nika is too unselfish and needs to take more shots.

Hilarious, you can tell the giggle fits are genuine. .

I loved the little smile and nod that nika gave when the person asking the question said “nothing is seeming to work” against paige and that showed how much she adores paige and their friendship is ❤️ Love love love this interview!

Paige is a once in a generational player, girl is so intelligent humble\killer instinct (dianna) w.movement off ball, (curry), get her own shot,(maya) efficiency/unselfish(Sue) I said it all yr versatility(Stewie) can flat out 🏀, but can we talk bout Westbrook, she’s gorgeous (team photo) model shoot 😉 and she balls, 1 thing I like bout no fans is being able to hear her a few times w. Blocks “gimmie that sh**” & classic And1!! I watch every game, I like nikas progress, it’s interesting what geno said w. Paige, wonder what geno said to azzi fudd recruiting. Lastly this comments all pre game but Minnesota showing up I expected this from Paige no cap maybe not the Pt’s but what bout her fellow MN jalen Suggs killin it for Zags. Now post game analysis Paige is doing exactly what geno asked... nika and Williams makes Paige more of a star. Tbh nika honestly almost had a quadruple double so many steals/deflections the fact you can have her run the point with 3 great ball handlers. When more attention against stronger competition on Paige either nikas 3s drop or Williams can always go off then you have liv/evina/Edwards playing at a high tempo oh and there missing Anna this is a scary team if they can defend like they did today. Their effeciant offense but UConn is known for that hard nose defense and they brought it today some miscommunications here and there but overall defense was 💪. Oh and shoutout to the HS/2wk college player saylor for getting her first bucket. Let’s show up for SC and go huskies

As the excitement and fun spill over into the interview after the game.... I was wondering if Paige's passing talent is not robbing off on Ms. Muhl as it looks like it is.....I have not watched any video of Nika playing before UConn..... As For the progress of the team looks very good and then there is the South Carolina game coming up which could prove where in the world these Ladies are going to stand!!! Great Luck next game!!! There are videos of Nika on you tube...Fiba etc...she's non-stop !!! Great to see her coming into her own here...like she said, some different rules as far as fouls and such, but she's fun to watch, and gonna' be a great 4 years !

not being mean to any of the other kids on the team ut paige plays better with nika on the floor. it seems like when nika is on the floor pge knows she can always pass her the ball and either she will shoot , she will pass it back to paige to shoot , or she will make a play and have someone else shoot . them playing together on the court all the time is gonna hurt the opponents .

Does Paige really have to score as much as earlier in the season? Probably not. The individuals and the team chemistry have improved so much that on any given game any one can dominate.
