I thought Paige was just another basketball star coming to CT when she arrived. I live in CT and like so many in our State we became basketball junkies in 1995 when the UCONN Women's team won a National Championship. I was wrong about Paige. The year Paige became able to play this Season. What we all have learned is that we have never had a player like her at UCONN. There are no words to describe Paige. She's other worldly. She's on another Planet when she's playing basketball. She was born this way. She's in a special zone like we've never seen before. As the basketball coach at Syracuse said, "When she plays she has a chess game going on in her head." That about says it. But, what about Paige as a person. She is devoutly religious, but doesn't promote it. She lives it. She sends out love and gratitude to her fans in CT (I'm one of them), and to all she comes in contact with. After game she thanks and passes love on to her fans who fill every seat on the nights she plays. Little girls stand in line to get her autograph after every game as she inspires so many of them. We are soooo lucky to have Paige here in CT for another year!

I didn't know anything about women's BB until this year with the hype with Caitlin Clark. After seeing her play and now learning all she has battled through with injuries, I have to put her easily on the same level as Caitlin and IMHO, maybe a notch above. Interesting story about her

My ex-wife is a very beautiful Black/Cherokee/White woman, and our daughter was born in 2013. My ex-wife is 17 years younger than me, so we just grew apart. Nothing bad happened. And, her family has always been great to me. Our daughter turns 11 in 2024, and she looks like a young Mariah Musselman! Now you see why I can relate with Eric, Danyelle, and Mariah Musselman, along with Paige Bueckers' stepmother and her younger half brother.

Caitlin, Paige and others have opened the door for other college athletes who have genuine fire in their hearts, who in the end will bring their notoriety to the pros who should be welcoming any and all attention. That's what most women like to do, right? Get attention? You don't see women flocking to the WNBA. The presence of men in the stadium, wishing their favorite players come out on top, will sell more tickets.

Had Paige not injured her knee at all, I honestly wonder if she could have dunked. I'm 5'10", male, and Japanese-American (meaning NO jumping ability). Yes, I'm 51 in 2024, but in my prime (20-27, also my "handsome days"), I could effortlessly jump and touch the gray padding on the backboard, the net was automatic, and I could even just nick the bottom of the glass on the backboard. Well, Paige has 2 inches of height over me (at least), and you figure she could have jumped higher than me (her without knee injuries, and me in my prime). Put it this way: When I was 21 (1994, probably my REAL biggest prime year), I could lay the ball off the glass AND slap the backboard (barely nick it), and lay it in. No doubt, there ARE 6'0" women who can dunk.

I actually wonder if the great women's players like Buekers, Clark etc make more money in NIL payments in college than they make combined in WNBA salary and endorsements because interest in women's college hoops is booming , but the WNBA is not as popular. Therefore,zI wonder if the endorsement money is there for WNBA players.

She's different that's all. She has certain skills that Caitlin doesn't and vice versa. She is absolutely top shelf along with Caitlin. This is the best Women's tournament yet!

Rihanna and LeBron James didn't have their fathers, only their mothers. They both did a damn good job with them, so it proves nothing. The gender of the parent doesn't matter, only what kind of parent they are. Stop being a sexist.

Paige is fun to watch but she needs more to get everyone's attention. Caitlin has the logo shot. She needs to stop playing team sport and start getting a little more personal play or something. She is fun to watch but not as fun as Caitlin. I've watched her a few times Eben going back to her 8th grade first game where she was banging down 3's. But since it kinda got bored of her. I like her a lot but Caitlin is funner to watch.
