What a beautiful scene and moment. Love is a beautiful thing, And, I can't help but wonder what Geno is thinking and feeling as he sits along side the both of them. I know when he comments he tries to keep it under control but we understand these are his kids and if I'm sitting here getting overwhelmed with emotion I can only imagine what's going through his mind.

Everyone forgets that Paige was THAT GIRL her freshman year! Id say she was just as popular as Caitlin Clark is now

Paige is still the better player, but the NCAA and the media need the hype for the women's game and there's nothing like chasing a scoring record to make for easy coverage. Doesn't matter that Clark is only breaking scoring records because she shoots more anyone ever has, and her 3 pt attempt's record is astonishing( >13 a game). No one cares that she doesn't make a great %, and that's too hard to contemplate or explain. Much easier to say she scored the most....rah rah. If she shot as often as Paige, she'd be an 18 pt a game borderline all Big ten player, maybe. Just look at the coverage of the Big East tourney, all they talked about was Paige scoring 27/game. To anyone who knows the game, that was NOT how she led them to victory and was the best player on the floor. Scoring 27 EFFICIENTLY is very important, but her leadership, energy and productivity on D, leading the way verbally and with her play to stifle teams, knowing that was their only path to victory, is why she should have been lauded. Taking over all threes games at the right time, doing exactly what was needed, when it was needed, on BOTH ends of the floor is why she's the best there is.
