It shows how unselfish she really is and winning player of the year or MVP is an awesome accomplishment but thanking teammates and coaches after that is unselfish!

When the star player is loved by her teammates she is something beyond words.

She is a great player and a very humble grateful person. Good for her, and her team

My wife, who's from CT, pointed out that the UCONN women don't have their names on their jerseys. Why? Because they are a "team" in every sense of the word, and it's not about one person. That said, Paige is one outstanding player.

I love that she isn’t put down by upperclassmen for being a freshman to get it. Shows real sportsmanship from her teammates

This is well deserved and she is the correct pick. She is the best collegiate Women's Basketball Player I have seen in a while. Her court vision, shooting, and handles are really solid. But her character, leadership, and selflessness is what really separates her. Congrats, Paige!

Paige is clearly someone who gives of herself to her teammates, and that's what makes a team.

She loves people 😭 she is always shedding tears when thanking her coach and the people that surround her. This is why I love Paige so much ❤

💯 agree , I stopped watching sports because of all the “fake woke” social justice warriors that think they can talk down on Americans that might have different opinions then them, I appreciate a beautiful team, no egos, everyone is appreciated and even cranky Geno has a smile , I am pulling for the team just because of their selfless style,

@@chrismalik1579 I think Evina Westbrook (junior) is their leader, and she showed that through this tourney season. Just because she didn't score or assist as well as Paige that doesn't mean she was not the leader. There are much going around in and off court that we as audience or viewer of the game don't see. Heck, even if you watch previous interviews of Paige and others, they always refers that Evina is their leader. Leader isn't always top scorer or the best player in the team for that matter. Paige is just that good

@@habibrakhman4265 I never said anything about top scorer or stat leader is what makes her the leader... and nobody talks about any other girl on that team but page... even Geno has said in interviews she is the leader and the heart and soul of the team... the other girls haven't really done anything in the tournament... if it wasn't for page scoring half of uconns points against baylor with page taking most of the shots uconn would've been destroyed by baylor... they only lost because baylor lost their star point guard and page was making almost every basket she shot... I follow uconn every year and you can easily tell who their leader is... some of them girls act like they don't know how to shoot or rebound half the time... geno even said in post-game if it wasn't for page being the leader they wouldn't have won
