So true, all the battle with broken nose, knee to thigh, all the pushes and such the gals held their head high and know how to handle themselves on the court and off. They let their game speak for itself!! That's why the love for Uconn and their players is all respect all the way!

That's because Geno and his staff only recruit great kids, from great families from good parenting. You don't see the kind of embarrassment and thuggery at UCONN like at LSU and USC.

i thought in the last two games you could really see what kind of boost uconn could get from the fans if they are in the albany regional. it would be similar to what they got here.

Edwards of UCONN had to miss today's game and maybe tomorrow because of an intentional foul. They need to institute a rule where the player guilty of said foul should miss the same amount of playing time the injured player had to miss. That will stop a lot of the thuggery.

Am a 29 yr fan of UConn WBB. I absolutely don't equate LSU with SoCarolina. Dawn Stanley is a fantastic coach and I'm sure there was hell to pay in the SC locker room after Sunday's game. As for LSU & their coach, that's a whole other story. It's too bad those young women have this obnoxious person as a coach. Two other things: 1) the officiating has been awful overall which escalates the 'chippiness' and leads to fights. And 2) please stop using the term thug in its various forms.. It's a dog whistle to obscure the racism in these posts.

True. They are going to be roughed up by the higher ranked teams who are full of the type of girls you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley, I.e far too street wise for these nice UConn ladies. But best of luck to them as I have followed them through the season and have nothing but respect. Not sure about the god helped them thing though. It's all about the talent and a coach getting the best out of that talent.
