With a starting five finding their stride, the UConn Women's Basketball team is starting to prove themselves again as a force to be reckoned with in the Big East. Led by their seniors, nothing has been able to slow down the Huskies so far in 2024.
The Standard: In Season will follow the UConn Women’s Basketball team throughout the 2023-2024 season. The series will feature exclusive interviews with the players and coaches giving insight right from the source on the biggest games and biggest moments all season. This year, the focus moves to game action, new storylines and the same team that has captured the hearts and minds of the college basketball world.

UConn Ladies, I was aware of the Huskies' previous outstanding stats and championships, but the only reason I watch is due to the current team. You all are amazing individually and as a team. I rock with the Lady Huskies 🏀❤🙏!

I wish they'd gotten another big to back up Aaliyah Edwards but it is what it is. These young ladies are under a lot of pressure so I hope the coaching staff don't add to it; over-coaching never helps. After all the injuries and challenges they've gone through for the last two (maybe three) years, they deserve at least a shot at the National Championship. Dig down deep! We're rooting for you!

It's just a game , you will get better .
They are a good team but do not have enough big girls to trouble the top teams. Pure and simple.
For Uconn to have MORE success Nika needs to stay out of foul trouble and take the shots if they are giving it to her.. Going forward she needs to play smart defense and stay in the game..If not then the same thing will happen, they will lose like with ND...Go huskies..

As soon as she fouled out that game was over. They were hanging in there up to that point. I also think they were pretty bad off the ND screens. I think ND got at least 5 threes by effectively using screens to get someone open.

Honestly, need to change the name of the show after this season.
The winning streak was fool's gold, as they beat inferior teams in the Big East with their 4 guard starting line up. Very disappointed in the defense during the Notre dame game. Unfortunately I think UConn will lose by double digits against South Carolina. They don't have enough bigs to beat the elite teams

I don't blame her tbh. last time she played them she suffered a tibial plateau fracture and torn meniscus. so she had to play with that in the back of her head and it threw her off, and we all saw that. it wasn't just her, Nika fouled out early and had 0 pts and others didn't play well either. she still had 17 pts, which is more than others average.
