I agree, the Syracuse coach thinks Paige is one of the top three players to ever go to UConn, because of how she reads the game. Syracuse coach also said, wait until next year when Paige returns, the UConn fans haven't seen nothing yet.

I’m telling y’all ppl sleeping on Paige cuz of being out two szns since big east Tourny started she is the best overall player in the Tourny yes better then Clark or close to it. She is flat out ballin the team is a 7 player rotation which may make this journey harder. But I can see Iowa losing tonight.

Injuryed for one season and a half. Comes back and half the team is injuryed again. Moves from the point to the powerforward and maybe better then ever. PB is 🔥 and is one of the best players in the country. Shout out to D. Fair for moving up on the scoring list. Crazy she is not talked about like CC. The media cover has to do better!

The crazy part is, she's still unselfish. She could average 30 a game, comfortably. But she's going to have to go beast mode the rest of the way if they want to win it all.

Caitlyn's a shooter. Watching her move, she doesn't have the all round game Paige has. Bueckers shoots 3's at a higher percentage than Cait, but she doesn't take 13 3's a game. Paige dishes, steals and blocks like the best 'specialists' in the game. Caitlyn will most likely go first, but her entitled temper is gonna' cause her some issues unless she gets a handle on it

When you break down every part of both of their games you will find that Paige does everything at a high level and Caitlin turns the ball over way too much, takes a bunch of bad shots (even for her standards) and tends to rest on defense.

@@marcdaddy33 That garbage program was the #8 and #21 team in the nation the two years before Caitlin got there. It may not be a program with the history of UConn, but it certainly is not "garbage". Also show me where I even used the term "bag". All I mentioned was the things that Paige is better at which you have yet to address. Also that year that they were #8 in the country they had a player averaging 28 & 13 with 2 blocks and that player averaged 18 & 9 in the WNBA last season. Have anything else for me to debunk? You saying UConn would be winning it all with Caitlin and Iowa wouldn't be coming close with Paige does not make it true. Caitlin would not be playing the same way in the UConn system as Geno would sit her the moment she went jacking up a 30 foot jumper with 20+ seconds left on the shot clock. Paige would on the other hand be able to play with no restrictions like Caitlin does and therefore would probably be scoring much closer to 30 points than she does.

Paige is the best female college player. Her game is smooth like Kd, but she has handle and layup package like kyrie. Geno system is not allowing the world to see it, plus her being injured. But this young lady is my favorite player right now man or woman. 💯🎯 keep it up Paige.

@@trhansen3244 I think both paths are commendable. Caitlin gets to play for her home team and put up insane stats in the process. Paige gets to go play for arguably the greatest coach in the nation, but play within a system that means she won't put up the craziest stats. Keep in mind Iowa isn't known for being a poor WCBB team and were actually 21st team in the nation the year before Clarke joined and 8th the year before that.

I was replying to someone else who said Paige was selfish and a sellout. I said people don't go to college for OTHER people (they said they would've stayed in their hometown to go to college to play for THEIR team). I said that Paige gets to decide where she goes for 4/5 years of her life and college is about what comes after as well, not just what sport team you play for, but where one will get the most out of it for their own lives. I also mentioned that Paige had a stipulation that any company she deals with in the NIL has to do charitable contributions and that she herself (with some of the money she is making) opened a free grocery store in her old junior high -- in her HOME state of Minnesota, not Connecticut -- for food insecure students and their families. Not selfish, and helping out the folks in her home state. My replies kept disappearing for some reason. And even when I edited the one comment in that particular thread, then THAT one disappeared. Don't get it.

Paige Puechers is so overrated. What has she really done the last 4 years? I have seen so many big games where opposing teams have gotten big and physical with her and she breaks, wears down, disappeared. Even Ohio State beat UConn recently in the NCAA tournament. She will not be great in the WNBA. If she traded place with Caitlin Clark, Iowa would be have .500 ball club and UConn would be national champs.
