@@286mic That’s true. I know Geno has been wanting her to take her shots more and I saw her pass a couple open shots during the game against Jackson State when she could’ve taken them. It’ll be interesting to see if she’s able to balance her strength of team play while actually taking shooting opportunities.

UConn said F every other sport in the 90’s. They wanted to focus only on basketball 😂. Both men and women’s teams

Someone is in that program is causing those girls to get hurt... who ever the physical and conditioning coach is.. weight lifting coaches need to go... this can no longer be considered a fluke things... something in that program is causing those girls to get hurt.

Hudy is well respected and has been around both female and male (Texas and Kansas) athletics...but...the injuries started piling up right about the same time she rejoined the program in '21. Coincidence? Perhaps. But some of the UConn players also joined the program with pre-existing injuries (Fudd, Patterson, Ducharme, Griffin and even Bueckers). Out of all the current injured players, El Alfy is the only one who did not have a pre-existing injury (that we know of) when she tore her achilles at FIBA U19.

2 of the injuries are concussions. Jana got hurt in the off-season. Playing for her country. Paige got hurt in the off-season playing in a pickup game. Fudd and Patterson had bad knees when they got here
