From the U.S., proud of you man! Found Endmyopia in November and I’ve been watching your progress videos ever since along with several others. They’ve been nothing short of inspirational. I just started using a pair of differentials on the 31st (I’m now a week in). Coming from the -5 camp (-5.25 OD / -5.75 OS) I can certainly say that this is a journey, but I am already seeing improvements for myself and have strong faith in this process. Keep it going! Best of luck!

Thanks for the video - your efforts haven't been wasted. You know now, through experience, that the important metric is how clearly you see, not the arbitrary number of diopters on the lenses. This will really help you in a few years when you get to low myopia and have to bust through the last plateau. Keep going!

I am the opposite - I am reluctant to decrease my prescription because I am worried if I am reducing it too much 😆 my first normalised is only -0.25 weaker and my current prescription allows me to see 20/20 on the Snellen chart. Logic says that I should be ok, but I am worried anyway lol. Anyway, thanks for charting your progress. Will consider doing a channel of my own.

Thanks so much for your videos, they help a lot! Am also on my journey back to 20/20. However, I have just one genuine question...do correct me if I am wrong, but I think that if I reduce my glasses prescription by -1 or just slightly more, as long as I keep doing active focus for the blur distant texts/objects, then blur adaption will never occur. Is that true? Hope to hear from u brother :)

I want to go slow. I am okay with wearing a lens for 4 months. I want my eyes to fully adapt. More than reduction, I focus on habits, like distance viewing and cutting down on unnecessary close-up work. I guess the practice of mediation will help me in keeping my eyes relaxed while its tries to focus on distant objects.

I have had big problems finding an open minded optician here in the UK, just met with defensiveness and refusal to help and prescribed even stronger glasses. So if you don't mind me asking where do you get your glasses from & if at all possible can you recomend a friendly optometrist? Grateful thanks.

I got most of my glasses from SelectSpecs, but recently they've started putting a horrible green tint that that I didn't ask for in the lenses. Recovery is a very slow process! You should have never been put into a minus lens - in the first place. The OD should always give you "signed consent", so that your have an educated choice. Keep working on it!

1:40 that's me now, I have -2 and -2.75 but I stil have my -0.75 -1.25 glasses, and I always thought that active focus would be about seeing things from blurry to less blurry, but now after doing it for 2 weeks I can do active focus from blurry to very little blur. If you have weak glasses for your eyes, just use them during a sunny day, you should still improve, even if slower. Also I started improving by ditching my phone and pc and going in the woods more often.

As it goes...I am intrigued recently that my left eye has improved very slightly, based on slight clarity improvement on a distant sign I focus on for distant vision. I'm withholding making any conclusions until I change my contact at the end of the month w/a fresh one, as its possible (or maybe impossible considering contact lens are machine made) there are slight variants in the lens itself.
