Thank you for visiting our booth and for your very kind statements about our yarn. We are thrilled that the Cupcake with Speckles has inspired you! It is an interesting story of how this colorway came about. We had started by dyeing one of our Semisold colors and noticed that the reusable ties we had used had bled some dye onto the yarn, which is not supposed to happen. So we went with the colors that bled and decided to speckle the yarn to match. We were in love with the results and immediately made a recipe we could replicate. So it is now a permanent addition to our Adrift line and available in Worsted, DK, and Fingering. The fiber content for both both the Adrift and Mermaid Hair lines is exactly the same. The difference is, Mermaid Hair is a Semi-solid dye and Adrift is for our other dye techniques, such as speckled and variegated yarns. Please update us with the finished pattern! We would love to promote it with our customers!!

My daughter said the pink and gold remind her of a sunset! I love the idea of a Sheep and Wool tee! It's my goal to go next year. I went to UWW so it's old stomping grounds!

Yes I didn't know about this event at first either! You should check it out sometime. We drive through Eau Claire all the time on my way home to visit family in Minnesota. Are there any local yarn stores there I should stop at on my way?

I actually just got a skein of yarn from Ewetopia in a swap! Some people referred to the skeins with the black stripes as zebra! All of the yarn you got is so pretty. Can’t wait to see what you come up with using it!!
