Cool interview . Sherry is someone I could easily hang with. I also would love to see textile mills back in US so wool blankets would be all over like wool army blankets and pea coats when I was young ( kept the brontosauraus warm) but also want to see linen grown and milled in US as less toxic than cotton, longer wearing. Also saving to put wool blown in insulation in house, wishing the poor quality or commerical wool was going into that stream. Glad the Mitchells had the ability to make small inroads, hope others jump in. Watched while hackling alpaca fiber as home processing wool was deemed too arduous by my body and getting wool roving is as expensive as the finished yarn.

I hope you will attend and tell us all about it. (Attending does not require yarn purchasing. Also, Persephone told me she volunteered, but was informed that a private chauffeur and cameraman is not yet in the "Mad House" budget.)

What a fabulous interview! I’m off to check out their website and see how to support this company. There is a similar mom/son mill, Mountain Meadow Wool Mill, in Wyoming that would be a fun interview. I’m subscribing in hopes of more content like this.

If you’re ever nearby, NJ Sheep and Wool in Lancaster is small and wonderful surrounded by two small artsy towns and good food at Square One. It’s was last weekend.
