Can’t believe that this was only 20 miles from my house and I’m just now learning about it. Hope to see you all there next year.

I'm going to watch them all now. Exited to see how that beautiful yellow yarn will look as a sweater. Happy knitting!! :)

You mentioned ALL my favorites. Jeri and Irina, Kim dyes Yarn, and Into the Whirled are all the best. I bought some Vampires of Venice and Bigger on the Inside fiber from them.

Great haul! Just discovered you on this video. Looking forward to watching more of your channel. I was at the festival as well. I remember seeing you on Sunday morning chatting with a vendor. Aren’t too many men that knit. I go every year as I live 15 minutes from the the fairgrounds. Going to Rhinebeck again this fall. Some of my favorite vendors and wool come from Bare Naked Wool, O’Wool, and Fiber Optic Yarns. I believe her name is Ann, at Bare Naked Wools. She has a few sweater designs you might like that would let the wool shine. I just love her designs! Happy knitting and hope to see you at Rhinebeck!

Nice haul! Was this your first in MDSW? The Ravelry group starts tracking weather about 10 days before the festival because every year is different. Sometimes it’s unbearable hot, sometimes cold and wet. Waterproof shoes are always a good idea because sometimes the rain arrives several days before the festival and it will still be wet and muddy in places. One year I had a class in one of the unheated historic buildings - just another reason to wear our handmade items!
