My First Rhinebeck! NY Sheep and Wool Festival .... plus Wool and Folk

Hi all! I had such a great time at my first Rhinebeck! This is just a little overview of my last two weeks, I don't go super into detail about anything really because I simply don't have much to say that you haven't heard elsewhere! hahah
The Wool and Folk situation is significantly worse than I what I had experience with, and that's all to do with my timing (we arrived long after the worst of the crowds and weather). I don't speak extensively about Wool and Folk because I think its important to listen to folks' first hand experiences and support their small businesses.
‪@theknittingpt‬ has a great video about her Rhinebeck experience that also goes into some of the challenges her friends faced while vending at Wool and Folk. You can find it here: • TheKnittingPT Ep 45: L...
‪@lolabeanyarnco‬ discusses their experience as sponsors at Wool and Folk candidly here: • A Word from The Bean T...
Boy Meets Yarn has put together a list of vendors from Wool and Folk, so if you feel like supporting some rocking small businesses, follow this link: hero.page/boymeetsyarn/w-f-20...
Lastly, I was to say a hearty, hearty thank you to anyone that came by and said hi to me either at NY Sheep and Wool or Wool and Folk. It was my absolute pleasure to meet you, and I was genuinely so shocked to hear "fan of the podcast" come out of a few mouths. Blew me away!
As always thanks for watching, I'll get a podcast up to yas in about two weeks !

Enjoyed your update, thanks. Knit a Felix with Plutolopi and it is a perfect pattern for unspun. Your colours will make a great pullover. Mine is a “boring” 😉 natural brown but suits me fine.

I don’t have this bottle and I don’t understand the US either…and I live in the US. This was my first watch and I laughed out loud several times in the first 5 minutes. Thanks.

Glad you had a good time overall and YAY for meeting internet friends in real life ❤ For unspun knitting patterns, I HIGHLY recommend Melody Hoffmann (Mandarine’s) for size-inclusive patterns that use unspun yarn 😊

That unspun looks so fun! I love unspun and think I need to try Lili Loops. I like making Lentos with unspun because it doesn't take too much yarn.

unspun in fun colours! YAY! thank you for sharing your experience, Bee. kicking my lil feet listening to your stories about meeting online pals for the first time. I got to do that last year with some international knitting/d&d pals and it was truly life-changing. i know that sounds dramatic but it really was. these people are my people despite their global locations, so i totally relate to your needing to take a deep breath and just sort of recognize how wild that all can feel.

I don't mean this as criticism, but I think I prefer the natural/more white light than this yellow light because it skews the colors of your beautiful purchases!
