The zz231 Celica is one of the best designed cars ever made. They have tons of room, very comfortable car. The turn in on the Celica is amazing. They are super reliable, mine has done 336 ooo Kilometers and it drives like new. Every thing works. Great long distance driver with freezing air conditioner. rides nicely. Just s brilliant design.

This is actually my dream fleet (but GR86 instead of the GT86). Very attainable too.

the MRS is a weird one, because to me stock they look kinda goofy but with that hard top lowered good set of wheels and wing they looks awsome, almost look like a suped up porsche. That celica is beautiful as well, im a honda guy myself but i love cars in general. Great collection

MR-S is the best. Toyota will never make another car like this that is super light, sporty and just a hoot to drive for a long time to come.. if ever again. I get so many compliments on mine and its almost stock. I love it because it's so unique looking and you'll definately stand out from all the 'cookie cutter' cars out there.

It's actually a PFC APEXI Commmander ECU Holder. It was custom made 14 years ago haha

MR2 all day, Celica next. I love my MR2, so much fun to drive on the coastal hills. I love the wing but sitting next to the Celica made me wonder how the Celica spoiler would look on the MR2. Probably doesn't fit but the angles on the ends over the MR2 rear lights looks like it might flow just right. Love the channel Mitch, thanks man.

MR2: Future Classic, Looks, AND track car The FRS is way too heavy at 3,300lbs, and the Celica is far too common and not as attention grabbing, not to mention front wheel drive.

Which rear spoiler is on the MR2?

The 2ZZ Celica is a great car. Loved your red one too. I'm in the UK and I have the GT TRD Version ( Like your GTS in the states but comes with the TRD kit, 30mm lowered from factory) and revs to 8400 RPM before red line. Would love a Rotrex Super charger kit for mine but here in the UK they are rare and costly, plus needs aftermarket ECU and tune. However, I would recommend an HHO Carbon Clean. Flush in oil and clean oil. Really makes a difference. Great channel.

Picked up my red 140K miles 01 GT-S last month for roughly $7.5K from a dealer here in Oregon . It's an auto and yes the lift bolts are broken and it has motor mount and condensation issues. Not exactly my first pick, but I've scanned the market for months and it's almost exclusively 200K+ mile Celicas no matter what the shape or model for $8-10K all day from other dealers. Would have strongly preferred to get a great shape one off a private seller, but they just are not popping up. I'm happy with mine, just needs a lot of $ in work to get it where it needs to be. My current fleet is 88' NA Supra (it's a real gem, gets attention like nothing else), a 94' Camry with low miles, and the GT-S.

Nice collection, I have the 2001 GTS, love it, I had an 86 MR2, but it was rusty so I sold it. Then for daily driver 96 4Runner limited with e locker. My favorite.

Is that a double din display on the dash of the MR2? If so I need info on that ASAP haha!

We have very similar taste in cars. Before I bought my FRS I was looking at an Evo X but ended up with the FRS because I just loved the way it looked. Wanted to cut down how much money I have in cars so I picked up a TRD sports M celica and now currently thinking of selling the FRS to buy a MRS. Honestly might end up keeping all 3 if I buy one. 100% want to put a 2zz in the MRS ill buy but laws here make it a bit more difficult. Going to check out the rest of your videos ! this makes me want a MRS even more.

For me it’s the going the Spyder as well. I’m am biased though, as I own one. Silver ‘05 K24/ 6speed, +hardtop.

Been a huge fan of these cars since I bought and built my 06 exige into a time attack twin charged monster. I have that and a skyline time attack build and yet I’m constantly modifying the family back up car. It’s an 06 Corolla s auto. Stupid reliable 1zzfe. Currently has a bbk , drum to disc rear, sway bar, strut tower bar, injen cai, ppe longtube, bc coil overs, mwr coil packs and alternator pulley, and a host of braided stainless lines , upgraded mounts, lightweight battery , etc…. Next step is the cnc innovation billet side mount manifold or the extra 2zzge manifold I have and modify it for the 1zzfe head. My wife thinks this is a complete waste of money considering I have two race cars but the Corolla is such a sleeper on the highway , it’s a blast. I love it

What do you think of the Camry Solara? I drive a red 2008 with a black soft top so it would fit right in with this lineup. Great overbuilt V6 with potential for forced induction yet I never hear people mention it when comparing Toyotas

The first car I bought that didn’t have to fit under my parents check boxes was a celica gts the I paid $2800 for. I loved that car so much I wanted to spend thousands making it fast but before I did I found out about the mr2 spyder which I saw was mid engine rwd and lighter than the celica so I looked and looked for one and finally found one for $3400 and jumped on it. I had both for a long time and decided to sell my celica because i was still young and had just bought an sti and insurance was killing me. The mr2 cost less than half as much as the celica and three times less than the sti so I’ll never get rid of it because it has been my most reliable car I’ve owned and daily drove it the most plus I modified the heck out of it so now it is more of an extension of who I am and the crazy ideas that pop into my head. Currently my mr2 has a whole celica front end(spec d headlights hood fenders bumper lip), Subaru 18g turbocharger, 17x9 wheels, Subaru BRZ wide body fenders and brz Lamborghini look tail lights. Only thing I would say differently about this video is the mr2 feels more spacious as far as head room goes than a celica even with the soft top, the celica roof is so angled right at you it’s in your face but it’s an amazingly practical car. I fit an air hockey table inside the trunk, just had to fold the seats down. Oh and the celica handles great but could only dream to handle as good as the mr2 at least when the mr2 has the wider wheels it deserves.

I love the Celica and MR2, but toy have to have the hard top for the MR2 in my option otherwise it looks a bit off (to me)

I'm a celica owner myself! Wish mine looked as good as yours! Question...why have you never cleaned up or replaced the headlights in the spyder? Looking rather fogged over every video to me

They are 2003 custom ones. Just the inside is dirty haha. I need to get around to it!

I have a 1st gen mr2 as my Daily driver, 3rd gen mr2 is being built to be the track car, and 4runner for when I'm being lazy. The MR2s are great fun, just make sure you also have a boring car for when it's snowing or raining cats and dogs.

I bought a 2005 Corolla Xrs which I am in love with!

Good video. Traded in my mr2 mk3 (red) for a celica (red) back in February here in the UK . Miss my mr2, lowered sports exhaust...But needed a car with a boot and looked cool,with more seats to take my elderly mum out. Being a Toyota guy, the Celica ticked the boxes. Put on a spoiler, sports exhaust and its better looking. Not as nice as my mr2 but ac/big boot/more comfortable. Same 140 engine, cheap to run and still kids point and look at it 😂.. Still got a mr2 mk2 (red) as well.

That was a very bad trade IMO lol. I would have sold the SW20, turbo/swap the MRS and bought a cheap econo car like a Corolla for groceries/mom.

The Celica GST only came with the 6-sp manual.

I was actually in the market for any of the three recently. Celica GTS hard to find in manual, and harder to find not completely beat up/over 200k miles. But at least they were priced realistically unlike the FRS/86/BRZ where I see $16k-$24k for cars with at least 80k miles if not well into 100k. Crazy…considering sub 30k miles FRS were around $19k back in 2015 when I almost got one. What a market… MR2, actually reasonably priced or dare I say too reasonably. They have gone a tick up in price but still not as crazy as trying to get a similar good condition GSR or RSX Type S. I expanded my Facebook market search to 500 miles knowing I would likely have to ship the car home and not even get a test drive. But found my MR2 for a great price knowing also it’s in rough shape paint wise but I wanted a project anyway. Worth the risk for such a unique car.

I've got the MR2 and a Supra... I'd still love a GT-4 if anyone's got one going for cheap?

as an mr2 owner myself, you really gotta fix that hazy mr2 headlight, it ruins the car's looks. but other than that, great lineup, love your cars!

Have to say that MR2 looks amazing, and is absolutely the most sporty. But all are great cars.

I was gonna buy a Gt86 but it was not as good as my Celica GTS. So i stayed with it. Long distance driving is fantastic in Celica.

Got my Celica GTS for 2.6k NZD roughly 1.6k USD, rough shape paint wise but other than that no issues. biggest problem is learning how to drive it haha ( my first car. )

MR2 Spyders are going up in price because they're so rare. I paid 15K for mine but in my area the FRS is over 30K from a dealership. I prefer the MR2 as a pure sports car though.

The Gt86 id very small inside, almost claustrophobic. Is not as comfortable as the Celica and is not as reliable.

FRS is the best
