Interesting fact about this case: Jim Smyth, the same guy who got Russell Williams to confess in probably the most watched interrogation on KZread, found Tori Stafford’s body. Hundreds were searching, but in the wrong areas due to McClintic’s vague descriptions. On a hunch, he drove further north and then looked for areas that matched the description. If not for Smyth, her body might not have been found for years. Edit: I regrettably started this post originally with “Fun fact.” Not sure why I typed that but it was obviously inappropriate. Changed to “Interesting fact.”

You couldn't have said it better - I was also abused as a child and at no point would I ever be triggered to involve myself in such things. Hell, when I see people aggressively shaking their child in public I usually step in to stop it. Blaming your past for horrific acts that you take is absolute BS. You have a choice, make the right one!

While I agree with you and the narrator, and I'm by no means defending the actions of such people, you have to remember we're looking at it from our own, relatively sane perspective. Not all abuse is equal, and not everyone reacts the same way to similar types of abuse. Actions that most people might not consider abusive at all, even if/when they are being done to them, might severely traumatize another person. It's kind of like with drugs. Most people can do some drugs at a party and then return to their normal lives and be fine. Most will probably never get addicted. Some get addicted gradually over time, and some will become instantly addicted. Then there's the ultra rare case of someone having some sort of adverse reaction and dying from a single, common recreational dose.

@@michalmichalski4152 According to all the statistics, with all that I've been through, I should be a serial killer. I have a dark river of rage that I keep tightly controlled because no matter what, in the end it's a choice you make. What was done to me does not justify me doing the same to anyone else!! It's called free will and it's the reason we're not a savage pack of animals. There's NO justification for the crap people do to each other. It's as hard as f*ck being the good guy but that's the choice I make every day! Because nobody deserves to feel like I do!! 😢

@@sythiadawn I agree, there is no justification. And I understand how you feel, and I understand the struggle. You are an amazing human being for choosing to end the cycle of violence/abuse. I admire your strength and I thank you for it. But that was my point, not to justify, but to understand. A monster is a monster, regardless of how they became that way. But understanding how a person becomes a monster can help to stop, and maybe reverse the process before horrific tragedies like this happen. Most cases like this involve some sort of progression to the final, heinous act(s). And they also (often, not always) involve more than one person who looked the other way, ignored, didn't care etc.

It doesn't compare to what happened to poor Tori of course, but it's nice to think that he was suffering greatly during his interview and time in jail. I hope his prison time is spent in fear and in solitary confinement, which I've heard reformed ex-convicts on KZread describe as torturous. I would never usually wish that much misery onto anyone, but I gladly make an exception here. He's one of the most monstrous people I have ever heard about. Truly sickening. One of the best true crime narrators out there. No corny bullshit…just in-depth coverage with consistently great delivery. Even though the videos may run a bit longer on occasion, they never become so tedious or boring that I find it difficult to make it all the way through. I’m always engaged the entire time, even if I’m already familiar with the case being covered (which is a rare enough thing in itself!) Also, the large selection of photos/videos makes it SO much more enjoyable than just listening to a podcast. Please keep up the great work, because I find myself looking forward to these videos much more than some of my prior favorite true crime channels!! Oh, and P.S…I LOVE the occasional bitchy comments randomly sprinkled in. There is something genuinely hilarious about snarky personal opinions being subtly peppered throughout a typically straightforward delivery!

Back in 2018, Terri-Lynne McClintock was transferred to an Indigenous healing lodge, and people (including Tori's family) were outraged. Government said "oops" basically and moved her back to prison. Then Terri tried suing for compensation for unfair treatment for being forced back into prison. I wish "people were outraged" enough to get this gang of cretins swept out the door, kicked to the curb, thrown in the garbage & replaced by those with the stones & the sense to quit coddling these creatures & keep them imprisoned until their hides rot off. "Paroled killer" is a term that should be banned from every nation on Terra. And now up there they're so gullible that THIS can up & suddenly announce it's of Native ancestry, & so somehow despite having the blood of an innocent young girl PERMANENTLY staining its filthy inwards it gets to take advantage of aspects unique thereto, slime up a healing lodge [sounds like the kind of places for victims & survivors] & now permanently stain an entire culture with its ugliness & manipulative bullshit to have an easier - though only slightly, since aside from their bucolic winters lockups in those provinces hardly equate to US versions - time humming its way to eventual unjust release? In less than 9 short years those airheads will do just that, causing little Tori's family reaggravated pain while this inhuman object skips merrily away through prison gates manned by smiling dumbshits left waving Bye-Bye in its dust to rebooted freedom. Except that like the lowest-no-class male it conspired with to commit these horrific acts, it has scant appreciation for 4 vengeful ladies waiting on it: Mrs. Karma & her daughters the Three Fates. Their Divine Justice cannot be ordered up, customized or programmed, only wished, prayed & hoped for; but while the timing is beyond earthly influence - else the vapid cow would get cut down in some appropriately gruesome way before it took its 2nd breath outside - these twisted blisters will 1 [very] fine day or 2 get what's coming to them.

On a side note I wish he would cover the Andrew and Zachary Bagby/Shirley Turner case. I've read the book by David Bagby I watched the documentary dear Zachary and have found one article on the web that had a little more information than both the documentary and the book but otherwise every other podcast or KZread video out there about the case just repeats the same things. But like there's back stories I want to know more about and I have no doubt the Jiles could find out all the backstory information and also no doubt he can make it look like it's an easy thing to do. 😉

Them both being in blankets was so annoying; her interrogation was hugely upsetting and his was infuriating. His was however another one of the many examples of Canadian Investigators being extremely well trained and naturally skilled at interrogation. He played it through straight to the end without losing his focus despite being given barely the slightest acknowledgement from this monster acting stuck up and pathetic in front of him. Much more detailed video than I’ve seen before about this one! It was horrific but somehow was even more depraved than originally believed on my part. She somehow got a lighter rap than he did and now it’s obvious it was an equally achieved situation and outcome. I don’t believe that the little girl had bo idea who she was, she probably had seen her before and that lent enough comfortability for her social nature to extend outside of her regular environment. The likelihood that she previously described essentially the same terrible attack and murder she would later become attached to is simply just to great to be denied and so somewhere from the beginning she had an idea of what was to come and still ushered the girl forward into that eventuality, she is culpable abuse or not. No child should be abused but that stands for both those who were abused and those they sometimes come to abuse as a result of that original abuse.. her family did her wrong but she did that little girl ten times worse. It’s like a watered down less attractive Ken and Barbie killer knock off fan couple. Sick either way. Both deserve probably more punishment than they received but bless that little girls family despite their shortcomings, living after knowing that happened to your child is a hell I can’t imagine.

This really is the most horrific case I’ve ever listened to, very rarely I have trouble listening to a case but this one is especially difficult to listen to. I cannot believe how evil some people are, they both should’ve got life, neither should ever walk the streets again, ever!!! Thanku for sharing this young girls case, as hard as it is to hear her story needs to be told. Parents need to know the serious dangers out there

*Neither should ever ‘walk’ in general, ever again, let alone breath the air other human beings breath. Those things are not human…. It is something else far more evil & sinister than we, human beings, can even fathom or wrap our heads around. The fact that this type of evil & darkness exists & lingers amongst ‘us’ on this earth, is absolutely mortifying & rattles me to my absolute core.

Anyone who could place a dog or any animal into a microwave and turn it on is psycho and a danger to all. They need to bring back the death penalty in Canada.

I don't wish harm on most folks but if those 2 crusty truck stop toilet stains experience a fraction of the terror and pain they inflicted on that innocent young child, they only have themselves to blame. It does make ya wonder though...are male inmates or female inmates more vicious against child rapists/killers when they discover one on their cell block? May Torri's family and friends continue receiving the necessary counseling to help them cope with their devastating loss.

There a many accounts you can listen to of prisoners talking about how they target child killers/molesters for beatings. I forget what one man on tiktok called it but they even have a name for it there. There are people doing life in prison that you really can't punish much more for doing something to these types of people who are in. Now, as far as women's prison goes..that doesn't seem to get talked about as much so who knows how it's handled there.

Religiously in the middle of the night. 'suffer the little children' is her podcast. She's like a female version of Jiles, but focuses only on child abuse cases. Sorry I'm rambling.
