@@TristanDurandBuilds I have the same bike like yours 2007 Yamaha r1 with 25k miles that I got from a friend that crashed it last summer and I’m rebuilding it and your videos help so much like it was lowered and I didn’t know how to bring it back to stock hight watched your video and did it. Just ordered black fairings for it still waiting on them to come. Thank you so much for your videos you are the Mann!!! God bless you

The factory OEM 2009-2014 Yamaha R1 mirrors work and look great. I've have them on my 2007 Yamaha R1 for about ten years now. If I were you, I'd find a set of them on ebay.

Good work on the vinyl. Haven't tried it yet but I know you need to be extremely patient when wrapping curved items. I like the looks of the first mirrors, the 2nd mirrors are no better, I had them on my FZ6R. Visibility was horrible. I drilled that wire down thru the mirror mounts on my bike and hid it tho.

Yes, if I liked the look on the bike I would have done something like that but it’s a no on this one ✌️

You should check your flywheel/magnet too and if there is older design flywheel/magnet - change it to newer, before catastrophic damage to your engine :)

i know i'm way late with this comment but i just came across your channel. All you had to do was mark where the cut off line needed to be and then paint the plastic on the inside thus leaving a perfect gloss finish on the outside. and as far as the mirror that is the wrong mirror either you ordered the wrong one or they sent you the wrong one

@@TristanDurandBuilds lol no no the windscreen that part you put the matte black vinyl on. if you would have painted the inside part you would have a perfect gloss finish on the out side. I do a lot of modding and fabrication there w2as a couple other thing i was gonna bring up but I figured it was so long ago.

Hi! Where can I find these heat shield that you are using? Keep up the good work!

I have the integrated turn signal mirrors on my R6 you could've use the adapters of the other mirrors.

Gotta love the rules.. Salvage title, but ya you can ride it to the inspection . LOL

Feel like it needs a sticker at the top of the vinyl

So I have changed the blinkers to led ones on the side and in the Mirrors, but now if I use the hazard lights it stops me from being able to use the blinkers until I turn the bike key off and on again, what have I stuffed ?

You must have messed up the wiring, that’s an odd thing... I don’t think it’s coming from the turn signals but from your wiring
