This video was really helpful for the R1 we picked up cheap, we thought either the carrier was broken or the rubber grommets on the carrier weren’t put in by the previous owner, so ordered a new fairing bolt kit because it was missing other bolts and held off on the carrier. I watched this, took the mirrors, windscreen and damper off and found the front fairing was loose because the PO didn’t fully tighten those two bolts holding the carrier :-|. But I also got a chance to take the old brake lines off, so was able to get the front sorted with your help. Thanks, mate! Hopefully it’ll be all sorted for some track days next year.

i just broke that exact brace. LOLOL thanks a brunch for helping me 2005 r1 . i also broke the left side mid fairings upee brace. i found both on ebay oem cheers mate
