I got delivery of 1.4 turbo petrol DCT Luxury Plus on 31-Jul. Overall great family car. Enuf power and refinement and features to keep family happy and safe. - no headrest for middle passenger in middle-row. - no adjustable (sliding) arm-rest for driver. - no 360 camera + good space, in middle and in 3rd row too. + seats have deep base. so good thigh-support. + Good AC vents and charging ports in all rows. + Nice stable ride. Good shock-absorbers + good premium interiors and storage for all 3-rows. + good cooling for passengers, and cooled cup-holders for front and middle rows. - glossy dashboard can catch some micro scratches (even with cheap micro-fibre cloth I bought from road-side).

Hi Dhaval. How was your experience in traffic conditions? Did the transmission heat up? Its not possible to put gears into Neutral in peak traffic conditions again and again as it defeats the purpose of automatic.

Good review. My experience after taking a test drive is that it surely does not feel powerful, lags power in normal and eco mode. The sports mode is just ok ok. Surprisingly my i10 sportz AT feels more powerful than carens. The moment I slightly press the accelerator, it zooms but carens lags this. Suspension is also not impressive for the price they charge. Space wise it is excellent. Interiors are of very good quality.

How does the 1.4 DCT compare with 1.4 MT? - Which one would you recommend to consider among the MT vs DCT?

Booked luxury plus petrol 7DCT. Heard like hill climbing issue, a/c water stagnant on the roof, any other issues which you've come across. Is it worth to spend around 22lakhs?

Learn to put dct to Neutral when coming to stop everytime you learn that you'll be fine. Dct isn't for ease it's for performance.

About u drive milage?1.4 turbo.we should go dct or manual

How's the performance of diesel automatic variant?

Good one. Seen your review or Alcazar as well! Sure you seem more pleased with the Carens. Is it the turbo petrol’s performance against the NA 2.0L petrol or the ride of the KIA which is making you happier? Also share your thoughts on the turbo petrol of the Carens Vs the 2L petrol of the Alcazar. Which suits a car of this category/ purpose better?

Hello, I have booked both Creta and Carens. Confused as which one to take. Carens have 1.4 Turbo whereas Creta has 1.5 Petrol. Carens is ready to deliver. I will have 5 persons travelling some times or else 2 or 3. Please suggest. One downside i feel for carens is it looks long from sideways
