Kristi Noem just relayed a story about how she was abandoned and neglected in her childhood, but instead of doing better with the future, she wants to normalize that fear for everyone. That's terrifying but makes a lot of sense for how these people are created, why they are always so scared of everything and why they think everyone needs to be scared of everything.

Jordan deserves to host the show permanently! He's put in the work as far being on the ground getting the material.

That's why David Letterman was so successful.And that's why I love watching Jordan at work,he makes trump supporters look so dumb and they don't know even know it.

That traumatizing childhood story reminds me a lot of mine. When I told my therapist some of the "lessons" I was taught, her jaw was on the floor. Its amazing how we can delude ourselves into thinking abuse was OK or funny or a way to teach. Eyes opened.

My older brother made me stand up to a bully who had hit me (I was about 10). I got beaten and bloodied, but he was "proud of me for standing up for myself." The kid was two years older than me and a head taller. My brother was 13 years older, and an adult. I was not allowed to cry afterwards, either. The sad thing is that many people reading this will probably think he did the right thing.

I love Jordan, he's great. However, I suspect that when the replacement host is finally chosen, its probably not gonna be a straight white dude. I would like to see one of ladies come back. They all did great but some of them were killing it. Also, when do we get a Ru Paul as guest host. I'm feeling like the daily show needs that kind of energy right about now.

Will just post my additional support of Jordan being the permanent host. He’s great and has the best comedic timing.

This same exact story was told on the show VEEP - by Salina, when she was running for president. A little girl that went hunting with her daddy and it was a pro-nra speech. They are now, reciting speeches from TV SHOWS people.

Jordon's the guy. He started out a little awkward, but absolutely nailed it by the end. He's been doing enough field work. He deserves a desk.

Klepper is absolutely brilliant and would make a fantastic host. I'd hate to miss out on his reports in the field, though.

One thing I've learnt is that these comedy shows are the arm of misinfo & disinfo "with greater flexibility and tolerance" for such things. If the news can't go any further, they cover and say these things on comedy shows instead for general consumption to reinforce the "confirmation bias". 'BLDM' would show that.

Her little grand daughters have nice guns but no rights to their own bodies.

I’m also sure the 2 yo will do great fighting in the well regulated militia when the tyrannical government appears (to try to take her gun away?). Because the 2nd/gun rights are based on the idea that you are part of a well regulated militia…. the (NRA dark money payed off federal society’s) SCOTUS judges having ruled that essentially all Americans are synonymous with the well regulated militia. Although I believe even those judges don’t consider 2 yo as “militia fighters”… especially since US laws-in adherence with international laws-bans those younger than 18 to fight in a war.
